Islamic/Natural Laws of
Personal Development/Excellence Part 01
Acknowledgment…
Our Responsibilities
 My responsibilities
 I am here to give you values
 For your money
 For your time
 Your responsibilities
 Be 100% present here
 Be a student…
 Don’t be an evaluator
 All things are working perfectly out there, just
disconnect yourself from all those things.
Few words about LAWS
 Our whole universe is governed by laws
 Law of gravity, electricity, velocity…
 And social laws
 Never try to:
 Beat, cheat, ignore, change, bypass the Laws even if
you know or don’t know these laws.
1. Law of Sowing and Reaping
Law of Sowing and Reaping
Law of Sowing and Reaping*
“Whatever you sow, so shall you reap”
Important points:
 1. Read: Read in reverse.
 2.Action: In order to reap, you must sow. If you don’t sow
you don’t even have a chance to reap.
 3. Negative: If you sow bad, you reap bad.
 4. Positive: If you sow good, you reap good.
If you send out loving, kind, magnanimous and caring words,
thoughts and deeds, you will receive that goodness back.
* Jim Rohn
 5. More: You don’t reap only what you sow. You
reap much more than what you sow (both
bad/good).
 6. Many ways: there are so many ways of sowing. So
many ways of success, happiness, etc.
 7. Anyone: anyone can sow and reap. Can is not
question, but will is the question. Anyone can is not
issue, WHO will?
 8. Keep Sowing Good: if you don’t/stop sowing , it
doesn’t mean you will not get a crop. Rather you will
get a crop of negative.
Because the reality of this world is negativity/
destruction.
 9. Responsibility: Take 100 percent responsibility of
your sowing. Whatever you are reaping today, is what
exactly you saw before.
 10. You may lose: Sometimes it doesn’t work at
all.
2. Law of USE
Law of USE
Law of Use
 Whatever you Use you Improve, whatever you don’t
Use you Lose
 Ambitions
 Talent
 Abilities
 Motivation
 Energy
 Skills
 Knowledge unused will gradually decline and one day
you will lose forever….
 Remember: If you don’t use your talent, God will take it
away and will give to someone else who use it and you will
be answerable on the day of judgment.
 Bible: The more you use and magnify the gifts or
talents you have been given, the more gifts and
talents you are give. But if they are ignored or buried
and remained undeveloped and unused, the very
talent and gift that you have been given will be lost
and often given to another.
3. Law of Choice Vs Chance
Law of Choice Vs Chance
Law of Choice Vs Chance
 Nothing (especially the success and failure) is by chance in this
world. Everything is by choice.
 You have a gift of God: that is the power of CHOICE, you are free
to chose.
 You are product of choice not chance (nature, environment,
circumstances)
Use your power of Choice
 You are free to choose.
Advice: Become selfish about yourself…..
4. Law of Deserving
Law of Deserving
Success Formula
Traditional (wrong formula)
HAVE: have enough (money, resources, things)
DO: do what you want
BE: be happy, successful, educated, talented,
Life is not designed to give us what we need, but the life is
designed to give us what we deserve.
Marketplace/corporate is not interested in your needs they are interested in your
seeds/disciples/willingness/eagerness/values.
Revised (Correct formula)
BE: be who you are, know your strengths, values, purpose
Create your worth/value
DO: do what you love. This doing will be the contribution of
your unique gift.
HAVE: what you need.
LEARN THE PROCESS OF DESERVING NOT JUST NEEDING.
Is there any difference in following two sentences?
1. I need Rs. 1000.
2. How could I earn Rs. 1000.
Remember: You can have more than you have got because you
can become more than you are (Jim Rohn).
Be-Do-Have….
 Allah says: if you come to me, I will come to you.
Allah says in Quran:
 Allah will not change the condition of people until they
change what is in themselves (13/11).
 As for those who struggle/strive for Us - We will surely guide
them to Our ways (29/69).
 There is nothing for man except what he strives for (53/39)
5. Law of Pain
Law of Pain
Pain Pain & Pain….
 Life is a form of pain and suffering…
 Rich suffer because of…
 Poor suffer because of…
 People without family suffer because of…
 People with family suffer because of …
 People having worldly pleasure suffer because of…
 People who abstain from worldly pleasure suffer because of…
Pain is inevitable, never cease, never stop but merely get exchanged or
upgraded and we should let go of trying to resist it.
There is no such thing:
life without problems
ultimate happiness
 Avoiding the pain creates more pain:
 Avoidance of pain is a form of pain
 Avoidance of suffering is a form of suffering
 Avoidance of struggle is a form of struggle.
 Denial of failure is a failure.
 Hiding what is shameful is itself a form of shameful.
 Victim mentality: seeing to blame others or outside
circumstance for their problems.
 Everything worthwhile in life is won through
overcoming the associated negative (pain)
experiences. Pursuing the negative generates
the positive. Our problems give birth our
happiness.
 Pain you pursue in the gym results…?
 The failure in business leads to…?
 The pain of honest confrontation generates the…?
 Happiness comes from solving problems.
 To be happy we need something to solve….
Problems and Solutions…
 Don't wish for less problems, wish for more skills.
Level of Problems and Skills
Learn to attack problems
Solve problems (suffer pain); be happy
 Pain, unease and dissatisfaction are necessary
components of creating consistent happiness.
 Happiness requires struggle
 What determines your success?;
 What pain do you want to sustain in life?
 What are you willing to struggle for?
The value of your suffering?
 If suffering is inevitable and unavoidable, then
question we should be asking is Why am I
suffering? For what purpose?
 If your suffering has meant nothing, then?
6. Law of Focus
Mind
 What you focus on grows, what you think about expands
 Whatever you focus on you will experience; whatever you
focus on you attract.
 If a person focuses on their strong points, achievements, and
accomplishments, the world opens up to many astonishing
opportunities.
 On the other hand, when you focus on your weak points and
disappointments, the world becomes terrible place
 When we change the way we look at things ..
THINGS CHANGE…
 This is why it is so critical to focus in life on what we
want versus what we don’t want…
7. Law of Giving & Receiving
Law of Giving & Receiving
Law of Giving & Receiving
 In order to receive you must give. Receiving is reserved for who give.
 We must circulate energy in the direction of what we wish to attract into our
lives.
 Even a simple prayer or thought directs energy.
 It is better to give than it is to receive. Giving starts the receiving process.
 If you want joy, give joy to others;
 if you want love, learn to give love;
 if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation;
 if you want material affluence, help others to become materially affluent. In fact,
the easiest way to get what you want is to help others get what they want…. Live
for others
 “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” ―
Mother Teresa
 Live the life for others.(“We make a living by what
we get. We make a life by what we give.”)
7. Law of Attraction
 whatever can be imagined and held in the mind’s eye is
achievable if you take action on a plan to get to where you
want to be.
 Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives
whatever we are focusing on.
 No matter what you are looking to have or achieve or be in
life, if you can hold onto an idea and see it for yourself in
the mind’s eye, you can make it yours to have – with some
effort on your part.
 Law of Attraction uses the power of the mind to translate
whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into
reality.
 If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain
under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts, and
have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to
Freedom
 Discipline mean Restrictions, punishment, self
confinement.
 Freedom is my highest value – I want to create more
freedom in my life.
“I WANT TO BE FREE”
 what If we give freedom to
 signal lights,
 Car on road
 Train off the track
 free class rooms,
 2 years old child to eat chocolate,
 to media,
 to police/army,
 to youth (like the generation Y)
 if every one is free???
 But how do you achieve true freedom?
It's discipline that brings us freedom.
 It is a track to run on, it is harnessing and channeling
energy for great performance. It is paying the price to bring
vision into reality.
 Many times you have to be unkind to be kind. All medicines
are not sweet but we have to take it, all surgeries are not
painless but we have to take it.
 Discipline is an act of love.
 Disciple is a force which helps you to get access to power
which gives you freedom to live.
 Discipline is a pathway to success and creativity.
Remember:
Only the disciplined are truly free, the undisciplined are
slaves of moods, appetites, passion, fashion, media, culture
etc…
