lies the municipality of Brasov, the seat of the county with the same
name, first certified by documents in 1234.

The county of Brasov, lying in the central part of Romania, within the
Carpathian arc, covers a surface of 5,351 sq. km, that is 3.2% of the whole
surface of Romania, boasting a most varied relief, from plains to the
highest mountain peak in the country (2,543 m).

INSPECTORATES
• To monitor the organization and functioning of the preuniversity education network and to inspect schools
• To ensure compliance with the law in the organization

• To propose the local school network and the students’
enrolment plan to the Ministry of National Education.
