With its user friendly and intuitive touch
screen interface, preparing IRIS for
injection is a simple and quick operation.
After the patient ready for infusion gets
selected, the operator monitors the
general status of the device and follows
all stages during infusion.

concentration and dilute mother vial
• High precision calculation of the dose
All IRIS operations, like initialization,
activity measurement, dilution, cleaning
and injection, can be controlled with

Safe and ergonomic placement of
disposable kits
The disposable kit is an essential part of
the system. The system is designed for
use with a disposable kit which is easy
to position and understand.
The entire kit is divided into two sets:
the first one is the main one which is
positioned before using the system, the
second one is that of the patient which
is replaced with each new injection.
Because of the top access and the
compact design, the main set can be
easily placed within the processing area.
The mother vial, waste vial and isotonic
solution bag are connected manually.

• System compatible with multiple isotopes
The IRIS system can be used for many
diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
because of its flexibility in isotope and
radiopharmaceutical usage.
• Flexibility in mother vial container
Besides the standard CF-18 and
CF18-T containers, other types of
containers can be loaded in IRIS. A
wide range of containers is supported
(allowed maximum outer Ø of
120 mm and height of 130 mm).

• With DICOM protocol for direct
connection RIS/PACS
With DICOM and WiFi on board, you
will save time and errors with a link to
your RIS/PACS system. Import patient
injection planning data wirelessly without
problems and the operator will be able
to use it immediately. The patient list
can also be sorted, so the operator can
quickly choose the next patient ready for
infusion.
• Link with IBC management software
With its seamless wireless link to the
IBC Nuclear Medicine Management
software, you are ensured of correct
and efficient patient planning and dose
calculation based on EANM dosage
cards. This is in addition to the benefits
of the IBC software in general.

Light, flexible technology, at the service
of operator and patient comfort
In designing IRIS, Comecer focused
primarily on simple, ergonomic,
lightweight and compact device
operability.
Modern technology has made it possible
to achieve a very easy-to-handle
machine, suited to all movement needs
within hospital departments and wards.
The core of IRIS has a solid steel frame
and is equipped with a servomotor that
assists the operator in handling the
device.
The device’s control system keeps
track of the complete status of the
device, battery level, movement brake,
treatment, measurements, sensors and
actuators.
When the battery runs low, the system
informs the operator promptly. When
the battery is fully charged, the system
is able to operate for a full working day
without the need for recharge.
IRIS’s various outer housing parts are
of extremely durable and easy to clean
polypropylene. Its sturdy construction
means the device is not damaged during
movements.
Autonomy is guaranteed for at least 8
hours.
