Global launch of the Healthy Ageing and Prevention Index 2nd wave – alongside...ILC- UK
The Healthy Ageing and Prevention Index is an online tool created by ILC that ranks countries on six metrics including, life span, health span, work span, income, environmental performance, and happiness. The Index helps us understand how well countries have adapted to longevity and inform decision makers on what must be done to maximise the economic benefits that comes with living well for longer.
Alongside the 77th World Health Assembly in Geneva on 28 May 2024, we launched the second version of our Index, allowing us to track progress and give new insights into what needs to be done to keep populations healthier for longer.

2. INFRASTRUCTURE
• Association’s Secretariat was initially housed in a small room
in a office of M/s Printpack Engineers.
• Then shifted to a rented office at Noida.
• The possession of land in an Institutional are was taken on
15th April 1996.
• Now IPAMA owns three storied building, having total built-up
area of 12,300 sq ft.
• Now the same is being utilized for conferences, seminars,
workshops and training programmes.
5. MEMBERSHIP
• Started with a humble beginning of 24 members who attended
first meeting on 22nd August 1988.
• IPAMA now has 250 members to its credit and equal no of
manufacturers who participate regularly.
• For promoting membership, regular campaigns are launched.
• Efforts are made to target each and every manufacturer on All
India Level.
• Members have special status during the shows organized by
IPAMA.
6. EXCHANGE HOUSE
• IPAMA interacts with Govt bodies and trade associations for
exchange of necessary information.
• Association espouses causes dear to the Industry.
• Association has been advocating for restricting import of
used, 2nd hand and obsolete machinery.
• Managing monetary assistance to members for participating
domestic and international exhibitions.
• Pleading with Govt. of India for raising exemption limit of
Central Excise Duty to Rs. 5 Crores.
7. BRAND INDIA
• For robust health and growth of the industry, a dynamic Brand
India image is absolute must.
• To change the archaic mindset, the association has been
conducting seminars on subjects of interest to the industry.
• The association has been granting subsidy to its members,
who attain Quality Assurance Certificates from recognized
world authorities.
• IPAMA is glad to announce that machinery manufactured by
its members now find readymade markets not only in India,
but overseas also.
8. WINGS ACROSS FRONTIERS
• Exploring greener pastures overseas is MUST for survival.
• The Association has been successfully networking not only
with overseas manufacturers but also with organizations of the
fraternity.
• The Association is now member and represented in
international associations like ASIA PRINT and Global Print.
• IPAMA has been actively participating in foreign shows like
KIPES, IPMEX, DRUPA, PRINT CHINA, SLAP, IGAS etc.
