This document provides an introduction and agenda for a session on nature-based solutions to address the climate crisis. The session will include 4 parts over 2 days: Session 1 will discuss opportunities and constraints of nature-based solutions, which involve working with nature to address societal challenges while providing benefits for people and biodiversity. Session 2 will focus on what is needed to scale up ecological restoration efforts. Session 3 will examine how resilience in nature-based solutions can be measured and strengthened. Session 4 will look at using trees and bamboo as sustainable energy providers through bioenergy.
