What is Deep Learning ?
 Deep learning is a subset of machine learning where artificial
neural networks, algorithms inspired by the human brain, learn
from large amounts of data.
 Deep Learning was first introduced to the machine learning
community by Rina Dechter in 1986.

Inspired by the Brain
 Deep Learning were inspired by the connections of the neurons
and synapses in the brain.
 Visual cortex has multiple stages which implies that our
thought process is hierarchical in nature. Deep Learning can
“theoretically” learn any function.

 In Deep Learning, a convolutional neural network (CNN) is a class
of deep neural networks which are commonly applied to image
classification.
 The design of these networks is made up of series of convolutional,
pooling, and fully connected layers.
