The ALK-88 fusion splicer by Eloik Communication Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. is a compact, lightweight machine capable of splicing various fiber types with low loss. It features a fast 7-second splicing speed, long battery life allowing over 200 splices on a single charge, and a small portable design weighing only 1.6 kg without the battery. The ALK-88 has a 4.3 inch color LCD display and supports splicing of single-mode, multi-mode, dispersion shifted, and non-zero dispersion shifted fibers with an average splice loss of less than 0.04 dB.
