I have extensive experience in Purchasing, Cost Analysis, Negotiations, Contract Development (with
materials, services, equipment and projects) Cost Savings, Supplier Selection, Performance
Measurement and Evaluation. I have been a Certified Purchasing Manager since 1989 and have

I have worked in high tech communication electronic manufacturing, healthcare services, food
industry, military electronic sub assembly manufacturing (D05) and electronic manufacturing of
airworthy products for commercial and private airlines. I am skilled at purchasing high-risk custom
materials and electro mechanical components that require reading specification sheets and custom
drawings and blue prints. I have a high success rate in the planning, execution and maintenance of
contract management and projects, MRO, MRP, ERP and capital purchases. I understand the
responsibility of working closely as a team with other departments as well as the supplier to achieve
goals.
I have worked closely with Engineering and Quality to assist with New Product Introduction (NPI). I
have successfully utilized Corrective Action with suppliers to correct non conformance issues. I have
worked with Oracle software 10.7, 11.3, and 11.i Purchasing Modules and Lawson and Orsos
healthcare software. I am proficient using Microsoft Office (EXCEL, Word, and PowerPoint) for
reporting, analysis and monitoring.
