Bob Hernick, a PhD candidate, is conducting a study to investigate the relationship between intrinsic motivation factors from self-determination theory and job satisfaction factors in the project management profession. The survey aims to understand how autonomy, competence, and relatedness impact job satisfaction to help project managers and teams perform at optimal levels. Participants will be asked questions about their project role, the three motivation factors, and job satisfaction. The 10-minute online survey was approved by Capella University and participants can request a copy of the final report.
