2. What is Geberit? Geberit lets water flow to, in and from buildings. From supply systems to application and drainage systems. A system of compatible and complementary products and services. Improved building procedures, acoustical insulation, water conservation, drainage hydraulics and fire protection. Room for strategic expansion and further internationalization of the business.
3. How many languages are required? English is the priority language; also German is required but not as much as English. Other languages may be also useful .
4. What is the minimum wage? At a multinational (Geberit), the minimun wage is 600€ for the first year, 800€ for the second and 1000 and more for the following years. At a small factory, instead, the minimun wage for the first years is about 600 or 800€.
5. If I am sick and I don’ t go to work, am I paid? Yes of course, you are paid but within three days you must take a medical certificate to the factory. If you don’ t take your certificate, you may be fired.
6. How many hours a day do I have to work? I have to work 8 hours a day for a total of 40 hours a week.
7. Do I need I.T. skills? Yes, you need digital skills, even though, the ECDL licence is not required specifically; the knowledge of SAP, an accounting program, is quite required now. Linguistic certifications are important.
8. Do I need a driving licence? It would be better, because sometimes you can do outs at the bank for paying or getting something.
9. Do you offer accomodation and/or transportation if the job is far from home? Sometimes we do. As far as transportation is concerned, we offer a coach line service.
10. What are the promotion chances? There are some promotion chances in the multinational sector, but in small enterprises these chances are limited.
11. Do I have to work alone or in team? Both in the multinational sector and at small enterprises, you must be able to work alone or as a part of a team.
12. How many days off may I have? There are no days off. In the multinational sector there is an hour off on Friday afternoons, but at other companies there is not such an option. In general it depends on the company. As a rule, a worker should work 40 hours a week.
