• That’s it. Nothing to worry about. Stay calm they make you feel good.
• The interview is bilingual based.
• It takes almost 5 minutes.
• Take it easy nothing like an alien or rocket science questions. Good luck &
prepare well. My sincerest best wishes with all.
• Those who are discussing PFC, Mayors power budget distribution in head,
OZT, etc, kindly must understand this thing in the interview and room you
have to be conscious and hold your nerves this is the real test.
• They don’t check your knowledgebased interview, they measure your
consciousness, presence of mind level & who you handle pressure and
comprehend questions.

the most.
• She also asked the abbreviation of NED and the old name of NED.
• Sir Rizwan asked about my father’s occupation, sister’s qualification, and
brother in law’s qualification.
• Rizwan emphasized whether which seat I would prefer if I pass CSS, CCE
Engineering, and Municipal Officer simultaneously.
• My interview was also simple.
• Just about my education, previous & current work experience, about father &
siblings, nothing much.
• Just 2 questions of local government.

• I didn’t know both the answers.
• My language of conversation was full English, no any sentence in any other
language.

Town Officer interview held on 28, August 2023 (SPSC) Karachi Center
• My interview went like.
• What is your name?
• Which district are you from?
• What do you want to do this job as there is nothing in this job that you would
want to do?
• If you have a very tight budget where you have nothing to be spent on let’s
say less than 10%, nor can you impose taxes on them, what would you do in
a situation like this?
• Brief introduction.
• My family background.
• First person: Abdul Aziz you have good CGPA 3.7. I said Alhamdulillah sir.
• What are you doing nowadays? I said I am preparing for different jobs and
teaching in private school and preparing for CSS Exam. I also attempted 2021
attempt but failed in essay paper.
• Then examiner asked what mistakes you did in essay paper? I told them.
• Then he asked how you will overcome these mistakes in next attempt?
• I told them I am practicing a lot and giving mocks in academies to overcome
my mistakes.
• These he asked one Islamiat question, I answered it.
• 03 questions were asked from Local Government, I answered only 02
questions and for 1 question I said sorry.
• Then he said Thanks Mr. Abdul Aziz, you may go know.
• What will be the answer of If you don’t have a budget in town how do you
manage it.

Interview-2: Male Candidate of Town Officer:
• Which district are you from?
• What do you want to do this job as there is nothing in this job that you would
want to do?

• Interview was in English 100%.
• I entered in room, panel members were busy in documents checking.
• I stand beside the chair and waited for 03 seconds then chairman Rizwan
Memon said gentleman take your seat.
• Chairman opened my personal file and said, “you are Bakir Ali”, I said, “Yes
Sir”.
• You did Civil Engineering? I said,”Yes sir”.
• How you done internship before your completion of degree in Bahiria Town?
I said,”Yes sir”.
• Then how you became JEST?
• You left Engineering for JEST? Ok no problem.
• You have left your Engineering? I said not sir I used to apply for Civil
Engineering jobs.
• You have applied in recent jobs related to your field? I said yes but I was not
recommended.
• If you are selected for MO and also for other your field related job which will
you prefer?
• I said MO more than my field job. Chairman said why?

• I said it is my preference, it is an executive branch, diversified field and there
are many opportunities for public service.
• Mam said. Ok, executive nature of MO. You have also applied for other
executive jobs in your field?
• I said it is more diversified and I told madam job description of MO for
comparison.
• Mam said, what your father do?
• What your siblings do?
• Local Government member asked 03 questions but I could answer 02.
• Abbreviation of SSWMB? could not answer.
• In which schedule of SLGA 2013 functions of Municipal Corporations are
defined? I think wrong answer
• Population of ward in Town Committee?
• Chairman tried to persuade me in Sindhi Bakir if you are selected in MO and
as well as in other your related field job then prefers your field job because
your creativity will be waited in Local Government you are Engineer and
government has spent on you for your higher qualification and you have good
percentage.
Interview held on 30, August 2023 (SPSC) Karachi Center
• My interview experience.
• As I entered the room and took chair, the panel chair told me (in Sindhi) I had
the most impressive engineering resume so far (I had mentioned all my online
courses from foreign universities and my engineering job too), so why did you
leave engineering field?
• I told them some reasons and there was a personal event.
• He asked (now in English), “may I ask if you don’t mind, what that event was
don’t mind”. I told him about the event.
• Then he asked if I had tried for civil services.
• I told him that I appeared twice in CSS and once in PCS 2020. The chair said
ok, “Its result is about to come?”. I said, yes sir.
• Then the lady panelist asked me, “You could have served the people by being
in your field too, why did you choose civil services and why would you stick
to it despite having a good engineering profile?”.
• To which chairman responded her on my behalf based on my earlier answer
and said, “Madam, he wants to be part of decision making and policy making.”
• Then she asked why do you think you can be the right policy maker.

• I told him a reference from General Parvez Musharaf’s book which had
inspired me in metric which was given to me as a reward for winning an essay
writing competition in Cadet college. She waved her head (I think in
acceptance).
• Then the Local Government representative told me about the ‘District
councils which were recently abolished’.
• I told them that while I don’t know for sure but I do think they must be in
Karachi because all the Union councils in Karachi were reformulated as Union
Committees.
• The chairman then said you are right. One of them was in Karachi, where do
you think would be the second one? I told him,” sir the other one should be in
Hyderabad then because it was reorganized on similar line as was done in
Karachi” to which he said, “absolutely right”.
• The Local Government member then asked who is chairman Local
Government Commission, I told him sir this question was being discussed on
Facebook and WhatsApp by everyone, and there is no mention of it in the
Local Government Act 2023 or Local Government website, but as far as I can
tell it is either Local Government minister or Local Government Secretary.
Then he said laughingly ok “Local Government minister is the chairman, my
son”.
• Then the lady panelist asked me about what my father does, how many
siblings we are, and how what does my younger brother do.
• The panel thanked me. And as I thanked them back, the panel chair said ok
“last question from you, wait”. I said sure sir. He asked, “if God willing, you
pass the PCS exam and are appointed as Assistant Commissioner, would you
go for it, or would remain Municipal officer?” I said, “sir, I would, without
any doubt, go for the job of AC because it is more in line with my interest,
and also it is human nature to go for the better opportunity, I would be lying
if say no”. To which all three panelists laughed. And said thank you, Mudasir.
• I thanked them back and took their leave

Town Officer interview held on 1st, September 2023 (SPSC) Karachi Center
• Today was my interview of Town Officer at Karachi.
• About 8 to 10 minutes.
• Tell us something about your caste.
• They asked questions about my qualification.
• questions about my family and siblings.
• What is profession of your father?
• What is your favorite subject (I replied Islamic Studies then they asked about
Namaz e Janaza, Iman e Mufasil, wars between Sahabis, how many kufars
were killed in Jang-e-Khyber? ,etc)

they started Questions, when All India Muslim was established, its purpose,
how many members were there, member from Sindh)

• When I entered the room Mr. Rizwan Memon said you, I have seen you
before.
• WI said yes Sir. I came here for the interview of Pakistan Studies.
• Rizwan Memon asked what happened with that result of Pakistan Studies?
• I said, unfortunately I was not selected for that job.
• Rizwan Memon asked what could be the reason of your not selection in that
job?
• I said there could be 02 reasons: either I could not my best or my colleagues
performed better than me.
• Rizwan Memon said it is not a diplomatic answer.
• I said you may understand it better than me.
• What are you doing nowadays?
• I said I taught Pakistan study.
• Madam said by encountering: To which class do you teach?

consequences of overpopulation. But it can go in right direction if we manage
the labor force in right direction as did China.

the second most populous country globally after India as India has overtaken
it as per the recent reports.

more in their fields as compared to Town Officer.
• They moved towards my village and asked about the most prevailing problem
there. I answered. and discussed about its solution. Most interestingly the
interviewer asked the spelling of my village and my city. (Answered)

• The answer of this question depends on your degree and interest.
• For example, if one has degree in computer science he may answer like that:
I will first fix the record keeping issue of our Local Government System. Issue
is that record is not being maintained in the Local Government System. UCs
do not have digital record keeping system for the birth of children, death of
local people, marriage and divorce. It does not have record of population
based on gender, age, ethnic group, race, and local settlement. During the
CORONA Virus Local government did not have record of people deserving
for financial ads. Ads were distributed to all and sundry without making
difference between rich and poor and deserving and not-deserving people.
