the day. Some of the things that I was responsible for doing
were:
•  Going to the managers meeting Monday mornings, and
safety huddle every morning.
•  Data entry into EchoCloud
•  Create files for providers if they did not already have one
•  Help prepare for reappointments
•  Administrative duties
•  Scan and copy documents

•  Prepare for meetings
•  Meeting minutes
MY WORK SPACE
The office that I
worked in was
located across
the hall from
Mrs. Lois Blakley
and next door to
Mrs. Kaye
Freeman which
helped to make

IMPORTANT MEETINGS
•  Some important meetings that I have attended are:
•  Credentials meeting
•  MCC meetings
•  MEC meetings
•  QRS meetings
•  Department managers meetings
•  Qgenda and TelmedIQ meetings
•  Up Front meeting
•  Safety Huddle meetings
QGENDA PROJECT
•  The Qgenda project is a physician scheduling
software that is able to help with scheduling of all
physicians, including on-call physicians.
•  I was able to help with this project by updating
providers’ telephone numbers and email addresses
into Echo Cloud.
•  I also edited the start times in Qgenda on groups of
practices and physicians within the call schedule.
•  One product that I contributed to the Qgenda
project was an informational bulletin board that I
created.
QGENDA
This is a sample of what a schedule in Qgenda would look like. Due to
HIPPA this is just a sample, not an actual schedule from Oconee Memorial.
TELMEDIQ PROJECT
•  TelmedIQ is an integrated HIPAA compliant messaging
platform to help improve patient care.
•  Providers and staff are able to access the TelmedIQ app
using their phones or their computers to message one
another securely.
•  TelmedIQ is a type of pager replacement that is being
used and the app provides a virtual pager number and
ensures reliable message delivery.
•  I was able to attend meetings in the weeks prior to
TelmedIQ’s go live, and also update information in Echo
Cloud for this project as well.
•  The informational bulletin board was also in regards to
the TelmedIQ project as well.
TELMEDIQ
In this picture I was presenting my ideas for the Qgenda and TelmedIQ
bulletin board. Due to some information that is sensitive, the presentation
area was staged.

PERFORMANCE SATISFACTION SURVEY
•  My final project at my internship site was to create a
performance satisfaction survey for the Medical Staff Services
Department.
•  The audience of the survey was aimed at the medical
provider and the office/practice manager.
•  The goal was to find out how the MSSD did onboarding the
medical provider and if there was anything that could have
gone better.
•  The survey is 10 questions long, and I was able to
communicate with office managers and with Mrs. Lois about
the draft for feedback before editing the final draft.
•  I was able to send the survey out to several providers and
office managers, and now have a few responses.
•  This survey has created a way for the MSSD to receive positive
feedback on the wonderful work they are performing, and a
way to track their successes.

CONCLUSION
•  My internship experience in the Medical Staff
Services Department was very valuable. I learned a
lot of important information about medical
credentialing, and I also learned that this field that I
am going in to has a lot to offer. This experience has
been enlightening and I am excited to see where
the path will lead me next.
