to share ideas , activities , events and
exchange pictures. Facebook , orkut
, twitter are some of the popular SNSs.

be read by anyone. A user can start
discussion , post and respond postings by
others

the most widely used method of
exchanging messages . The messages are
relayed to the people using E-mail server.
A e-mail can be sent to a person who is not
online.

7.  E-commerce is very important service
provided by internet for financial
transactions. Different types of goods can
be purchase & sold from anywhere from
the world

8.  Internet provides a facility to exchange
typed-in messages online with people all
over the world. This is called chatting . It
is done through chat rooms or instant
messengers.

9.  Video conferencing is a live tele-
communication between two or more
peoples at different locations. It is an
alternative face-face meetings.

10.  A search engine is a tool that searches
information on the world wide web (www).
Google , yahoo , msn , AltaVista , ask.com
are some search engines.
