Internet History: This is the face
and work of the first webpage
In 1989, physicist Tim Berners-Lee created the first webpage for scientists
Are you excited to see the first webpage on the Internet? If you
make it, know that it can be a fun experience.
That web page was not colorful, it didn't have pictures or videos, it just had letters and
links. And there were some misleading menus.
But with that small effort, the WWW has made a big leap today.
Wikipedia, Facebook, Google, and countless other Internet pages are viewed daily by
millions of people around the world.
Where did it start?

The first webpage was viewed on this computer of the European Institute for Authentic
Studies
The WWW or the World Wide Web was born on March 12, 1989, or March 29, 2045,
according to the Nepali calendar, at the European Institute for Nuclear Studies, CERN.
Although headquartered in Geneva, the organization had more than 10,000 scientists
from more than 100 countries. They needed reliable media.
It was invented by Tim Berners-Lee, a British physicist, and engineer who proposed an
'information management system' to securely exchange information about his studies
among all those scientists.
Berners-Lee's then-governor Mark Sandal called the proposal "vague but interesting."

Today the web has become a huge repository of countless files, pictures, and networks
that are constantly being added.
But 30 years ago, Berners-Lee invented his own computer and called it the Hypertext
Transfer Protocol. HTTP is an acronym for the name given to us when we give the
Internet address today.
He started the web with the simple idea - of information management: a proposal
One year later, on December 20, 1990, the web was made available for internal use, and in
August 1991, to the public.
On April 30, 1993, CERN, the European Institute for Nuclear Studies, unveiled the web's
software for widespread use.
The rest of history is in front of everyone - the web has become synonymous with the
Internet.
The technology of that time
The highest form of technology in 1990
What was the technology like then? At that time there was neither Windows nor Google
Chrome.
Personal computers could be counted on the fingers, and the technology market was
very technical and tedious.
The only use of the internet was to send some emails and files.
And to run the Internet, you had to work from a telephone wiring, which required
patience. Because it took a long time to connect to the internet and send files.

Nowadays, in the age of Forge, we use high-speed internet and we get bored if the
internet doesn't work for a few seconds, but at that time we had to know how to
manage the annoying to use the internet.
The first webpage was just as annoying today. Some of the letters were in the gray
box, but that was a big invention at the time.
And really there was no search engine like Google at that time.
