Be sure to check local calendar’s to make sure that the event does not conflict with holidays, religious observances or other local events. We will discuss culture and etiquette in more detail later. If it’s in your budget, consult with outside event vendors to help with some of the planning.

HUGE mistakes have been made when event managers have failed to research international and regional culture and/or the normal expectations of guests for these types of event.
