 Auditing chiller plant to get the raw data for
power factor, temperature difference and
flowrate of water
 Calculate the efficiency
 Plot the graph to observe the pattern
 Present to control leader
 Report preparation for client
1. Log the temperature, flow rate and power
factor for 3-5 days by using the measuring
device.
2. Collect the raw data.
3. Plot the graph of temperature supply and
return vs time, flowrate vs time, cooling
load vs time and efficiency vs time.
4. Present to supervisor or control leader.
Role 2 (Ducting)
 Determine the suitable length for ducting by
using the ductulator and the duct software
Role 3 (Pipe Sizing)
 Size up pipe by using graph of friction loss to
determine or to select a suitable pipe for
different flowrate.
 Pipe costing
 Gained practical skills in handling ACMV
equipments and devices
 Understand the operation of the ACMV
systems such as chillers & cooling towers.
 Meet new people with good culture
 Good opportunity to join in project team after
graduate.
