Energy Efficiency
Assessments
Reduce operating
expenses by investing in
energy efficiency
Kijana A. Mack, Director
“Our team's extensive experience includes energy
efficiency, renewable energy, power purchase
agreements, environmental services, building
systems automation, and life cycle cost analysis –
all key components to improving profitability
through reducing energy consumption.”

Our consultants develop energy efficiency solutions for customers that pay for
themselves, while improving profitability, asset values, regulatory compliance, and
business perception.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY SOLUTIONS
Our Solutions
❖ Corporate energy efficiency assessments for industrial plants and large buildings
❖ Assessments are based on the LEED Green Building standards in the United States
❖ Analysis of utility bills, power consumption, and optimization and trend analysis
❖ Clean Energy Certificates (CEL)
❖ Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
❖ Buildings Automation Systems (BAS) Optimization
❖ Building and HVAC systems monitoring
❖ Vendor selection for energy efficiency projects
❖ Regulatory compliance consulting
❖ Industry and regulatory research
Mexico Energy Partners believes the most attractive investment opportunities are
generated from within. We focus on “no-cost” and “low-cost” energy efficiency
initiatives which drive sustainability.

LEED CONSULTING AND FACILITIES
MANAGEMENT
❖ Green building technical consulting: Project-
specific and general consulting on planning, site
design, water, energy, and materials procurement
❖ Sustainable design assessment and drawing
review: Project review at any stage for sustainable
design, environmental assessments and regulatory
compliance
❖ Consulting including feasibility assessments,
vendor selection, energy procurement, and project
management
5
Energy Efficiency & Savings Assessment
Consumption & Optimization Analysis
❖ Air handling units
❖ Air compressors
❖ Water pumps
❖ Industrial cooling fans
❖ Windows
❖ Escalators
❖ Comprehensive review of the entire energy footprint of a plant
❖ Consultants target “no-cost” or “low-cost” improvements
❖ Assessments done entirely by a team of highly-qualified
consultants and industrial and electrical engineers
❖ Historical analysis of energy sources, consumption patterns,
and unit costs/pricing for all power sources
❖ “Low hanging fruit” initiatives pay for themselves through
lowering operating costs, enhancing brand reputation, and
lowering regulatory compliance risks
❖ Consultants use proprietary software to
optimize future energy spending
❖ Identify and rank order our findings to
optimize the efficiency and savings
versus anticipated capital spending and
operating expenses
❖ Project selection carefully mapped
according to the overall strategic needs
of the business or plant 6
GREEN BOX
Automated monitor that uses artificial intelligence
which has three functions:
1) alert designated persons immediately if
something in the automated building system is
driving up energy costs
2) system automatically makes the change
or if a manual change is needed
3) system display will show the dollar amount
being wasted until the fix is made by the
maintenance person
Low-cost automated system that relieves a
person of having to continually monitor and
respond to energy efficiency issues 7
Initial Meeting
Value creation begins with a
free on-site consultation
where we learn about your
needs and assess the size
and scope of the project.
No-Cost Fixes
Most of these fixes are achieved
when our engineers access the
buildings automation system. The
engineer then changes settings
and sensors to improve
efficiency. The payback for these
fixes is immediate.
Energy Assessment
Full energy efficiency assessment
is performed at the plant or facility.
Typically takes three to five days
per site and we often perform the
No-Cost Fixes during this stage.
Low-Cost Fixes
These fixes usually involve a
nominal cost through parts or
internal or external labor. The
payback for these modifications
is less than three months.
Monitoring
Following the project, our
team comes back for three
consecutive months to assess
the cost savings and energy
efficiency gains.
