Intel's Thinking Tools are designed to support collaborative, student-centered learning and higher-order thinking. The tools include the Visual Ranking Tool, Showing Evidence Tool, and Seeing Reason Tool. The Visual Ranking Tool allows students to easily rank and compare lists by collaborating and negotiating their reasoning. The Showing Evidence Tool helps students develop argumentation and dialogue skills by making claims and supporting them with evidence. The Seeing Reason Tool enables students to create visual diagrams to understand information, organize influencing factors, and investigate whether initial concepts are supported by evidence.
