The mirror, we keep looking at, is never enough. We need million mirrors to validate our ‘art’, still, we know and feel it that mirrors are detrimental to the very sanctity of art itself…
Why Saying, ‘I Know’, Is Worst Hypocrisy Of Humanity…?Santosh Jha
Beware of the potential of your stupid mind, it is the genius of hallucinations and as brain is where all realism starts and ends, our brain keeps churning its mechanism of reality-construction, through its hallucination-factory, piling up ‘Beliefs and Perceptions’ in the already over-buffered inventory.
The social construction of reality peter berger thomas luckmannAnuj Bhatia
This document summarizes key concepts from the book "The Social Construction of Reality" by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann. It discusses how:
1. Reality and knowledge are socially constructed and the sociology of knowledge must analyze how this occurs.
2. Everyday life presents itself as an interpreted, meaningful reality that is taken for granted but originates from human thought and action. Language and social interaction are important in constructing shared understandings of reality.
3. As human actions become habitualized over time, they become institutionalized through shared typifications and take on a reality of their own, independent of individual humans. Institutions imply historicity and social control.

No one vision is sufficient in and of itself – visions can guide but only by collaborative action in a creative generative process can visions grow and become part of an ongoing positive sociocultural reality.
Without taking into account the many worldviews that currently co-exist and crafting ways of including them in a positive and healthy form we will continue to alienate vast sections of all communities and humankind.
1) The document discusses embracing neurodiversity and an "all-inclusive" society that recognizes different types of intelligence.
2) It argues that societies have become toxic for human beings by not acknowledging neurodiversity and pushing a one-dimensional view of IQ.
3) The author dreams of a society that cleans up "mental environments" through a national campaign, in order to establish a culture that supports neurodiversity and inclusion. This would help transform societies and restore balance within the biosphere.

This document contains four think sheets written by a student named Phua Jing Sern. In the think sheets, the student reflects on topics like how people influence each other, making judgments of others, finding a balance between practical and artistic aspects of architecture, and whether it is better to have a "hedgehog" or "fox" mentality. The student discusses personal experiences overcoming bullying and realizing most people have good intentions. They also contemplate how buildings and people can adapt while maintaining their core purpose. Steve Jobs is used as an example of someone with a strong "hedgehog" visionary approach.
Education is something that many have said much about. Most of these are complex or vague. Consider the Greek philosopher Aristotle's saying that education is 'an ornament in prosperity' and 'a refuge in adversity'.

1) There is a need for a standardized solution to education about the nature of the mind given increased global interconnectedness.
2) The document discusses "open intelligence", which it describes as a vast, comprehensive intelligence unlocked by letting all mental processes and experiences simply be as they are without judgment.
3) An organization called Balanced View is working on a global collaboration around understanding the nature of mind through open intelligence to unlock gifts like spontaneous benefit, enjoyment, and connection.

This document discusses an integral framework and approach. It notes that an integral view aims to be comprehensive, inclusive and non-marginalizing by including as many perspectives, styles and methodologies as possible within a coherent view of the topic. An integral approach draws together existing paradigms into an interrelated network of mutually enriching approaches. A more integral cartography or map would include multiple levels of consciousness, lines of development, types of consciousness, brain states, cultural factors, the social system, and the importance of self. Such a holistic view aims to coherently include all relevant factors.
1) The document discusses the author's personal values, which were developed based on their upbringing in a small Malaysian town and influenced by their personality traits. 2) A key value is equality - between people, and between humans and nature. The author believes in balancing different parties to achieve harmony. 3) The author admires aspects of Japanese architecture that emphasize equality between nature and users, such as works by Tadao Ando and Takaharu Tezuka. They hope to apply these values of balance when designing architecture.
Transitory cultures value individuality and independent thought more than complex cultures. However, over time even individuals who take radical approaches will be followed by others and assimilated into the mainstream consensus. Complex cultures more strongly identify with larger groups and are aware of how their actions might impact others in their collective. Both transitory and complex cultures serve important roles - transitory cultures promote innovation when resources are abundant, while complex cultures emphasize tradition and stability when resources are scarce. When different cultures interact globally, long-held beliefs may need to be reevaluated if they negatively impact this interaction.
- The document proposes a new framework called "practicism" based on the author's notion of "meta-semeiotics" to address shortfalls in existing social sciences and practices.
- Meta-semeiotics views all things through interconnected "plurisigns" that can be assembled and disassembled through sensemaking and language. It provides a holistic perspective grounded in the true structure of the universe.
- Adopting this meta-semeiotic perspective could help solve many problems in society by replacing current "insane" and reductionist sensemaking with a more complete understanding based on principles like holoplurality. It could transform fields like economics, social sciences, and physics.

The document defines various sources of knowledge including senses, intuition, authority, and reason. It discusses each source in detail and notes both strengths and limitations. The senses are described as the most important source but also prone to providing a useful rather than objective reality. Intuition can provide insights but often proves incorrect. Authority and reason can generate new knowledge but depend on initial facts being accurate. The document also defines educational research as a systematic process to improve education through applying scientific methods. It notes research can be exploratory, descriptive, or explanatory and discusses qualitative and quantitative methods.

This document discusses awareness and its relationship to human learning. It defines awareness as the "lighting" that enables humans to see and understand the world. Awareness energizes various human attributes like the will, sense of truth, and affectivity. When experiences are fully processed with awareness and integrated into one's being, meaningful learning occurs. However, unprocessed experiences can cast a "shadow of neglect" that obscures awareness and leads to prehuman learning. The document emphasizes that awareness is key to humanizing one's existence and learning process.

This document discusses trends for museums in the internet century and how humans will continue to engage with museums. Some key points:
- Humans will remain curious creatures that learn through experiences, reflection, thinking and taking action in a discovery cycle when visiting museums.
- Museums can measure visitors' physical and sensory engagement through advanced biometric devices to better understand the experience.
- The physical design of museums should facilitate movement between different needs and ways of thinking based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs and Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences.
- Visitors will continue to learn in idiosyncratic ways using different intelligences and moving between physical, intellectual, and spiritual engagement.

Psychological Research Into Individual Differences In...Robin Anderson
The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan explores the relationships between Chinese immigrant mothers and their American-born daughters. It highlights cultural differences between Chinese and American values, such as collectivism versus individualism, the importance of family, and different expectations for women. The mothers struggled to understand their daughters' individualistic American upbringing, while the daughters struggled with their mothers' traditional Chinese values and expectations. Through telling the interwoven stories of the four mother-daughter pairs, Tan examines the challenges of bridging two different cultures and generations.
This document discusses what defines human beings from various perspectives. It begins by examining humans from an evolutionary psychology perspective, noting our similarities to other primates while also distinguishing humans as having descended from a shared ancestor rather than chimpanzees directly. It then explores the essence of humanity as comprising both spiritual/mental and physical aspects. Humans are defined as biosocial beings that represent the highest level of development among living organisms, capable of tasks like labor, social interaction, communication and consciousness. Key traits that define the human experience are discussed like spirituality, imagination, rebelliousness, beauty, character development, intelligence, responsibility, personal growth, social nature, innovation, and empathy.

In modern humanity, where 1% people own and monopolize 99% of incomes and wealth, globally, if humanity could trace one single element, that has somehow equitable and abundant distribution across geography, cultures and demography, that definitively stands out as STRESS…! In contemporary time-space of human march towards excellence and wellness, everyone seems to have only one singular thing as equally enough is STRESS…!
As the intelligence, reason or logic is now more aligned to emotional contents and imageries, which probably an over-active monkey brain supplies in contemporary milieus of conflicts, confusion and chaos, average person’s reason is actually emotions…!
You May Sleep Probabilities Shall NEVER...Santosh Jha
Often, most people have the innate consciousness to see and visualize a probability – opportunity as well as a threat, only in the near future. Average mind cannot see deep and long in future; our brain and consciousness is designed this way.
This document proposes a New Year's resolution to strive to be autonomous from one's nature and nurture by becoming a conscious observer and decider of one's own decisions. It explains that most decisions are shaped by subconscious influences from instincts and culture rather than conscious choice. The resolution is to regain sovereignty over one's own mind by making choices based on holistic consideration rather than subconscious impulses. Adopting this resolution could help one gain more control over their destiny and become empowered rather than a slave to unconscious influences.
This document summarizes the realities of violence faced disproportionately by women globally and historically at the hands of men. It connects this reality to claims by some young men that they "fear" women becoming too "obsessed" with offenses against them. The document argues that such claims fail to acknowledge the immense dangers still faced by women on a regular basis from male violence. It suggests young men develop greater empathy and understanding of the experiences that shape women's heightened sensitivity to violations of their safety and dignity.
1. The document discusses issues around modern attitudes towards marriage among young men and women. It suggests that contemporary culture promotes individualism over community and compromise, making long-term relationships more difficult.
2. It analyzes data showing that while marriage is not a priority for many, dating remains popular, indicating confusion. It also notes that single life is satisfying but something is still missing for many.
3. The document proposes that marriages require evolution and upgrading to make the institution more appealing and suitable to modern lives. Both societal issues and outdated relationship models contribute to reluctance around marriage.
The document discusses the science of respect and how it impacts individuals and societies. It argues that respect is not well understood despite its significant influence on human behavior. It also suggests that women often prioritize being liked over being respected, while men prioritize respect, and this dynamic has societal impacts. Finally, it discusses how lack of respect for certain groups, such as minorities and teenagers, can lead to feelings of resentment and retaliation, negatively impacting social cohesion.
Milieus must have all thoughts and ideas and they must remain assigned to dialectics of evolution in time and space. What may sound a futility or stupidity, may evolve as utility and sanity in future time and space...
This hate against women is surely not very specific. Like uncountable other hate objects and subjects in contemporary societies and cultures, women too are ‘generic’ hate targets. There is a larger picture of ‘global anger’ against existing world order, for we all to see and accept…
1. The document discusses how both genius and stupidity are two sides of the same coin that stem from the gaps and potentials in human consciousness and quantum physics.
2. It argues that humanity inherently trades in "somethingness", which is probabilistic expressions of gaps that allow the sale of ideas in politics, religion, and culture.
3. Intellectuals and non-intellectuals alike consume these ideas of "somethingness" in the same way, regardless of the different branding or packaging. The underlying commodity is the same.
From Nehru To Modi: What’s Changed In Red Fort Rhetoric?Santosh Jha
This document discusses the history and principles of rhetoric and public speaking. It notes that rhetoric, or the art of verbal persuasion, has been practiced for thousands of years in many ancient civilizations as a way for people to express their ideas and gain support. The Greeks are credited with establishing the core elements of a good speech: logical reasoning, specificity, and evoking emotions. It analyzes how the annual Independence Day speeches given by Indian Prime Ministers at Red Fort have changed over time, both in topic and oratory style. It encourages open debate on this topic but stresses focusing the discussion on these three classical elements of rhetoric.

not get loads of people, validating his/her art. This dualism is instinctive. The mirror, we
keep looking at, is never enough. We need million mirrors to validate our ‘art’, still, we
know and feel it that mirrors are detrimental to the very sanctity of art itself…
This stupid engineering of evolution probably designed our brain and the resultant
consciousness in such a way that it is wired in all of us to feel ‘rewarded’. As emotional
wellbeing is so core to our wellness definition, feeling rewarded is some core emotional
need, which we constantly keep seeking, throughout of our lives. And, the best
manifestation of this rewarded sensibility is ample and constant quantum of validation…
This validation is in fact a huge element of subconscious mind states for not only learning
but survival. As a small kid comes out of his/her mother’s womb, for every act and
behavior, he/she looks up to his/her parents for validation. Science has confirmed that
learning is all about how a kid accepts ‘utility’ and ‘futility’, on the basis of validation and
invalidation, which parents and ambient milieus extend to him/her…
Nothing, almost nothing stands important to humans and other living beings, which is not
aligned to and ascribable to core need of ‘survival’, as perceived and accepted by our brain
states. And, nothing stands of any utility, which is outside the cognitive domain of our brain
states. This means – need for constant validation is aligned to survival sensibility of brain
states. However, as we have come too far away from evolutionary diktats and instinctive
life-living, we all need to ‘revalidate’ this validation element in our consciousness
structures.
If we can see and accept it, from the specificity of perspectives, it may seem to us that
cultures and concomitant societal etiquettes of idealisms are also ‘structures of validation’.
As and when cultures become ambivalent on righteousness of singularity of validations, as
and when cultures become crumbling structures of idealisms of validation and begin to act
indifferent and even loquaciously self-negating, average humans lose the reference point of
patterned validation. This is recipe of lustrous smorgasbord of chaos and confusion…
3. … did someone say, the contemporary cultures globally are pathologically aligned towards
this malaise? Anyway…!
Let there be debates on that. What this writer wishes to put in perspective here is the need
to accept that we live in 21st century. We are new millennium people. We now have
knowledge of critical importance, which science has extended to us. We now know of the
brain states and its structural/functional domain. This beckons humanity to design and
redesign all cultural structures in a way that is now in sync and linearity with our modern
knowledge. Our contemporary cultures need revalidation of the ‘validation structures’,
which create cultures and popular societal etiquettes.
Moreover, as education system is core element of culture, the primary task at hand is
restructuring modern education on the basis of the contemporary scientific knowledge of
brain states. If we have a mechanism and process, which is common to all of us, and if we
now know reasonably well about it, this is the time humanity has a global system of
cultures and education. The human nature is common, the societies and their pattern of
validation therefore should ideally have a global commonality…
Let the debate begin…
