A research conducted by a teacher, an

professionals to aid in decision making in local
schools
Focuses on the solution of day-to-day
problems at the local level(classroom)
An approach to improving education by
changing it and learning from the
consequences of changes.

5. I- Context and rationale- includes the descrition and
context of the study and the reason for conducting it;
how the result could be used in action planning.
II- Action research Questions- identifies the problem/s
which will be addressed by the research in terms of
investigating or testing the idea; trying out solutions to
a problem; creating a new procedure or
system;explaining the phenomenon; or a combination
of any of these.
