Content Analysis: ‘Only Daughter’ is a memoir written by Sandra Cisneros. It tells
about her experience in life of being only daughter in a family
of six sons. ‘career’, ‘anthology’, ‘circumstance’ etc are new
words introduced in the first three paragraphs.

Pre requisites: Children might have an awareness about the previous lessons that
they have learned in relation with the issue of women. They might
have an awareness about what a memoir is? They might understand
the importance of family relation.

of the picture and profile of writer. Picture of famous women, video
showing the intimacy between a daughter and father .
