This document analyzes the geographic diffusion of IT trends using Google Trend data from 2008-2015 for 11 countries. Key findings include: 1. There are delays of up to 4 years between peaks of interest in "Big Data" between countries, with Japan peaking first and China last. 2. Cluster analysis grouped countries into three main groups based on their interest trends over time - USA, Canada, UK, India, Germany in one group and Japan, USA, India, Canada showing early peaks. 3. English speaking countries and Japan appeared more responsive initially to the rising "Big Data" trend, though it remained a growing trend in most countries analyzed.
