Succeeding by Connecting Across Boundaries and GenerationsJonathan Reichental
A far-reaching and provocative presentation given by Dr. Jonathan Reichental at the PwC People Forum in Athens, Greece that addresses head-on the opportunities and issues raised by the increasing use of digital communications and collaboration tools by individuals within and between enterprises and in the marketplace. Specifically, it discusses how a workforce that now spans four distinct generations must embrace these opportunities and evolve to navigate and succeed in a complex environment of behavirol and technical-competency differences. This has ramifications not just internally to the organisation but also, for example: in how it goes to market; how it collaborates and engages with customers; and how it competes in a global marketplace.

The workforce is changing. High turnover, low morale, less loyalty, rapid automation, and aggressive competition for talent. Yet, the need to have smart, focused, and motivated teams in every type of organization has never been greater. What tools do leaders now have at their disposal? Long neglected, it’s time to get back to basics and provide leadership that everyone can align with and feel excited about. This talk will re-introduce familiar, but often forgotten, concepts that can be immediately applied by participants when they return to work. This isn’t a theoretical talk, just real, proven steps to make a difference in your organization and with your people.
I gave this presentation to the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The course was on Reputation Management. This presentation (minus the voiceover) offers a framework and case studies for brands and their behavior, including the CEO.
The skills that got you to become a creative director are not the skills you need to be a creative director. Me and Xanthe Wells, CCO of Pitch, gave this presentation at the 3% Conference in 2014. Still holds up. (It's just missing a video we shared.)
Within the IT department of the City of Palo Alto, managing technology is a byproduct of trying to change the world. We have a vision to think about and implement technology-enabled solutions in entirely new ways for the city. And while we can learn a lot from the amazing work being done by other cities and states across the US, we hope that we can also be a guiding light on what’s possible in this brave new world. In this short presentation, Dr. Reichental will introduce the concept of the digital city, and in particular he will discuss how some of the principles were applied recently to a GIS-based application.
You've decided the cloud is right for you. Now the hard part.Jonathan Reichental
For many organizations, the analysis to determine whether there are opportunities in utilizing both private and public cloud has been satisfied. But for most, the hard work begins after the decision has been made. The toughest activities ahead includes prioritizing the migration, managing change, retooling, and security. In this session, Dr. Jonathan Reichental will summarize some best practices in managing the execution of your cloud strategy.
Presentation that covers the current state-of-the-art of social media in the enterprise. Let me know if you'd like to learn about the content . I can be contacted on Twitter @reichental
Over the past 10 years the web has become an increasingly ubiquitous and useful utility for hundreds of millions of people across the world. But as Dr. Reichental discovers as he personally rambles across the rich terrain of the web, many of its benefits come at the cost of privacy. In this short presentation he ponders whether the web has ultimately become our least private domain and whether, in fact, that may be a good thing.

price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
