Murdoch and Barry Diller
• It is currently broadcasting in several parts of the world, like Brazil, Australia,
Japan, Italy, Servia, South Korea, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and South America.

you think in the way they want. Ex:
If the television wants to make us a believe a certain person is guilt of
something, they will look everywhere to find small evidences that make him
indeed guilty, even if he is not

7. HISTORY OF PORTUGUESE TELEVISION
• Television in Portugal appeared in 1957.
• Television was viewed mainly by the majority of the people in public places,
because only the higher classes had the privilege of having one.
• 4 of September of 1956 the “Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP)” did his first
experimental broadcast.
• At the early ages, television broadcast, were heavily controlled by the
imposed censorship of the new estate.
• In 25 of April of 1974 the fall of dictatorship generated a bigger freedom of
the content broadcasted on televisions.
• The current open broadcast channels on Portugal are RTP1, RTP2, SIC, TVI
and ARTV.
