thispositionfor15 monthsat the WellSpanLungSleep& Critical Care Medical GroupYork location. She
was veryinformativeinourmeetingandIdidlearna lot. I knew thatkeepinguptodate with
knowledge wasimportant,butdidn’trealize thatsome of the jobtitlescanbe so differenteventhough
the certificationrequirementsare the same.
I have listedbelow the questionsandanswersIreviewedwithMrs.Knaubforyourreview.
 How didyouget intothisfield?
o Mrs. Knaub hadworkedforWellSpaninthe pastand since she wasnot happywiththe
employershe wasworkingwithdecidedtomove backwithWellSpanandhasbeenin
thispositionfor15 months.
 What do youlike/dislikeaboutthisposition?
o Mrs. Knaub like the people,howeverdislikesthe issuesshe dealswithespeciallywith
the doctors.
 What do youfeel are the careerpath options?
o She wouldlike tojustdocodinginsteadof billingspecialistandcoding. She doesn’t
wantto handle billingquestionsandwouldlike toworkmore withinpatientsetting.
 How doyou stay upto date withthe knowledge required?
o She attendsAAPCfunctionsandgetshercontinuingeducationcreditsthoughthose
functionsaswell assome of the educationopportunitiesheldthroughourcompany
