Euro mediterranean partnership regional cooperationENPI Info Centre
The document discusses regional cooperation between the EU and its Mediterranean partners. It began in 1995 with the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership established at the Barcelona Summit. The goals of regional cooperation include promoting integration, sharing expertise, defining common strategies, and carrying out joint projects. It aims to advance political and economic reforms. Major funding comes from the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI), totaling €12 billion for 2007-2013, with €343 million for South Mediterranean countries. Funded projects cover many issues and involve experts, officials, and organizations working together across borders.
This evaluation assesses the European Commission's (EC) cooperation with Honduras from 2002-2009. It finds that the EC's support was well aligned with Honduran government priorities and needs, focusing on key sectors like food security, natural resource management, and education. The EC achieved satisfactory results in food security and education through budget support and technical assistance. It also showed flexibility in adapting to urgent needs after disasters and emerging challenges. However, the evaluation notes some shortcomings like limited impact of environment programs and a lack of coordination between interventions. Overall the evaluation aims to draw lessons for improving future EC strategies and cooperation in Honduras.
Available funds for GIs-connected projects or initiatives in EaPOxana Paierele
Considering the fact that geographical indications (GI) are used as a factor of rural development contributing to differentiation of tools in marketing strategies, to preserve traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions, governmental authorities at the national and local levels, have an important role in ensuring the sustainability of the GI system framework. Public administration`s contribution is especially valuable when targeting initiatives at the local level and identifying the suitable financial tools.
Synergies between ESIF funds, Horizon 2020 and other research programmesParma Couture
Improving linkages between various EU Funds is the best way to enhance the impact of research and innovation (R&I) investments. By coordinating different forms of support, these links help creating competitiveness, jobs and growth in the EU by combining, for example, European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF), Horizon 2020 and other EU R&I instruments. Such a cross-cutting approach will be beneficial for gaining international quality of R&I projects, particularly in this area, where the EU is competing on the global stage.
To make these linkages a reality, national and regional authorities involved in the implementation of ESIF programmes focusing on research, innovation and competitiveness must seize the opportunity to ensure coordination and complementarities with instruments like Horizon 2020, COSME, Erasmus+, CreativeEurope and the Connecting Europe Facility. This means joint efforts at EU, national and regional levels in boosting the quality of programmes to achieve better results and higher impacts of the investments.
The European Commission has published guidance for policy-makers and implementing bodies on synergies between the different EU programmes investing into research, innovation and competitiveness, providing possible scenarios for their application in practice.
The document summarizes the conclusions and recommendations from an EDEN Network meeting between EDEN members, project officers, ambassadors, and the European Commission's Tourism Unit. It discusses expanding the network and increasing involvement of destinations, project officers, and stakeholders to demonstrate EDEN's benefits. Recommendations include national tourism authorities allocating more funding to promote EDEN destinations, project officers strengthening cooperation and establishing common standards, and destinations actively networking and exchanging practices to develop sustainable tourism. The European Commission will continue supporting EDEN by funding new promotion campaigns and destination selections.
The document provides an introduction to the EU funding system. It explains some of the key terms and acronyms used in EU funding. It outlines the different types of EU funds available, including regional support funds, agricultural funds, external support instruments, and community programs. It also discusses how to find information on funding opportunities, determine eligibility, get started in the application process, and compares indirect vs direct support.
The EU-Egypt relations report summarizes the progress in their relationship in 2009. It notes that Egypt made encouraging progress in economic and sector reforms but less progress in political reforms. While technical cooperation progressed in many areas, more work is still needed, especially in democratization and human rights. Both Egypt and the EU want to enhance their relations and are exploring ways to strengthen cooperation, with continued human rights progress being important. Bilateral trade between the EU and Egypt slowed in 2009 compared to 2008.

Territorial co-operation in the EU focuses on reducing disparities between regions and promoting economic and social cohesion. It includes cross-border cooperation programs along internal and external EU borders, transnational programs covering larger areas, and interregional cooperation building networks across Europe. Macro-regional strategies have also been developed for the Baltic Sea and Danube regions to coordinate actions addressing challenges like environmental issues, economic development gaps, and poor transport connectivity.

EU Energy Strategy in the South MediterraneanPARIS
The study provides an overview of energy policies of South Mediterranean
countries in and outside of the EU and describes the state of play regarding
the development of energy routes and infrastructure. The study also offers
recommendations on (external) energy policy and provides advice on
fostering regional integration and the interconnection of energy networks of

This paper examines the economic and financial linkages between Morocco and Tunisia and their European partners. Using structural vector autoregressions, we find that growth shocks in European partner countries generate significant responses on growth in Morocco and Tunisia. For Tunisia, exports and, to a much lesser extent, tourism appear to be the major transmission channels. In Morocco, exports, remittances and tourism play relatively equal roles. An analysis with sectoral data supports these results.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
