Web 1.0 consisted of traditional media companies pushing content to passive users, while Web 2.0 enabled user-generated content through platforms that allowed everyone to publish. Web 3.0 aims to enable user-generated business by providing everyone with professional publishing and business management tools to run their own media businesses and make a living from their creativity.
