5. FAQs
What is EGN UK?
EGN UK or Executives’ Global Network United Kingdom is the UK division of Netværk Danmark. We specialise in
creating subscription based peer advisory groups across a number of professional disciplines.
What is a Peer Advisory Group?
A peer advisory group allows you to connect with like-minded professionals to discuss business topics that are
important to you and your group. The group is over seen by a professional Peer Advisory Group Chair to ensure the
direction of the meeting is maintained.
How often do the meetings occur?
Peer Advisory Group meetings take place a minimum of six times a year, usually every other month.
How do new members join the established groups?
New members join after telephone or face to face meetings with our sales team.Your business will be cross-checked
against established members to ensure no conflict of interest for anyone involved.
How do I connect to the global network?
Connection to our nearing 15,000 member global network is made through our member site, or via our Android/
IOS apps, where a query system allows you to post business related enquiries and questions, which can be viewed
by all members.
What happens if my competitor is in my proposed group?
If we feel there may be a conflict of interest between two members due to their businesses, we will endeavour
to place the potential member to a different group, still within their professional function. If another group is not
immediately available, the subscription will be put on hold until a time when a group is available. New groups are
being created all the time, so waiting time should be kept to a minimum.
Can I refer a friend/colleague?
We always welcome recommendations from potential and existing members. The referral will go through the same
process as any other member prior to joining a group.
Can I change groups?
Yes this is possible. If you feel you need to change group, please speak to your Peer Group Manager, or Peer Advisory
Group Chair, who will be able to discuss your needs, ascertain a new group and assist you with the transition. As a
member you will also have DNA reviews with your Peer Group Manager or our MD throughout the year, to ensure
you are getting the most out of your membership with us.
How is the membership costed?
Our membership is worked out on an annual fee based on the group level. This is made payable by invoice or card
transaction. It is usually classified as a training cost, and can be paid for by your company.

7. About EGN UK
For over 20 years we have successfully connected executives. Today our Global Network has 13,000 members from
6,500 companies in 660 confidential network groups. We have networks in 14 countries across four continents and
cover more than 42 executive functions.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Small groups provide a space for dialogue and feedback with regard to specific challenges and not least the
confidentiality needed to be able to make use of each other.
PROFESSIONALISM
All meetings are chaired by a professional, experienced Peer Advisory Group Chair ensuring dialogue, progress and
development within the group. We take care of all the practicalities so you just have to turn up, participate actively
in the dialogue and benefit.
EXPERTISE
Our focus is on professional development and management; it is not primarily a social network. The meetings take
place during the day, because we regard peer advisory groups as part of an executive’s professional activity. We
always base the meeting on specific issues and cases.
SCOPE
EGN is the only network offering knowledge sharing across fields, industries, executive levels and borders. You will
be placed in a group exactly matching your own level and you can grow with the network as your career grows.
FOCUS
EGN subsists on operating knowledge-sharing networks – and that alone. We stay focused on the quality of our core
service.
INDEPENDENCE
We value our independence highly. Selling is not allowed in the network, and we do not accept consultants as
members. New members must be approved by the group in question in order to avoid competition or conflicts of
interests with customers or suppliers.
