External Relations
What is External Relations in AIESEC Stockholm? 
The ER department is in charge of creating collaborations 
and partnerships between AIESEC Stockholm and other 
student organizations, universities and companies. This 
gives AIESEC Stockholm the possibility to organize events 
and promote the available internships by raising brand 
awareness. 
· Innovation days 
We have a free hand and endless possibilities to create 
other events. A good idea is never ignored and if one of you 
comes up with the idea, you will be the project manager for it 
and I will support you all the way. 
Failure is not your enemy! Failure is your friend. Learn to fail 
and learn from your mistakes, that’s why you are here. Don’t 
play it safe because playing it safe is your true enemy.

Available positions in External Relations

We are now at a level where we have to develop 
ourselves for the business world. We all need to be 
ready to face real obstacles and rise above them. This 
way, we offer every team member the possibility to 
overcome these obstacles the way they feel that is right. 
Of course, we will all be in close contact with each other, 
but during busy times, this is how the information flow 
will go. Even so, meetings will be held every week and 
you can always contact me at any time no matter what. I 
will always be there to help you!
Assistant VP: 
· Helps VP when he/she is unable to attend/organize events 
· Is responsible for informing members on their tasks after he/she is 
informed by the VP on those tasks 
· Will constantly keep in touch with the VP 
· Acts as a VP and is allowed access to the e-mail in case the VP is 
away. 
· Swedish is an advantage 
Event Manager: 
· Represents the backbone of the ER department’s activities. 
· He/she will be in charge of the actual organization of the event. 
· Guided by the VP and Assistant VP, the Event Manager will ensure the 
venue of the conferences, the food, drinks and other materials that are 
needed. 
· The Event Manager must speak to either the VP or Assistant VP before 
making a decision. 
Event Manager Assistant: 
· Helps the EM when he/she is unable to attend/organize events 
· Acts as an EM when the EM is away 
· Will be guided mainly by the EM in the tasks that he/she has

work on various campaigns and teamworking within one team!

Creating visual support for the product marketing of OGX, ICX and ER. 
Create posters, adding labels, logos, texts on pictures. 
Work closely with Local Platform Managers. 
The photography and video editing skill would be a bonus and very much appreciated but not necessary. 
 Product Marketing Managers: 
Face-to-face communication with students at the time of campaigns. 
No campaign this team will: 1. promote the recognition of AIESEC Stockholm through the given channels 2. 
Constant communication with other departments to discover their current needs for advertisement. 
 Local Platforms/Social Media Managers: 
Updates on social media, local platform maintenance and presence on the web. 
Blogging, Facebook, newsletters, platform maintenance (AIESEC, twitter, Linkedin) and website management. 
 Communication Assistant: 
Coordination between the three other teams and reports to the VPC. Namely: follow ups, reminders, checking 
the flow of updates on our many different online platforms. 
In close contact with VPC and report the problems and updates each month. 
Help VPC at times of photo shooting and filming, the relevant knowledge of photography is appreciated but not 
necessary.
