Bijapur to find a master and learn music.

• X was born to a Turkish Family in Central Asia. He was
sold as a slave in his childhood to the Qazi of Nishapur.
He was very well treated by the Qazi and imparted
good education, including training in archery and
horsemanship in his childhood. However when the
master died, his jealous sons, sold X to a slave
merchant. He was finally bought by Y and became one
of his most trusted nobles. He gradually rose to the
rank of General and was responsible for most of the
North Indian annexations which gave Y immense
control over the region.

• X was born in Bombay to Pattipati Ramaiah, a nuclear physicist
working under the supervision of Marie Curie and a journalist
mother, Dr. Marthe. In her 2009 semi-biography of anecdotes, it
was related that her grandfather on her mother's side owned a
factory where he fired a young Benito Mussolini for beating up a
coworker, and her grandmother had a strange interlude with a
Russian prince who was their next door neighbour and later turned
out to be one of Rasputin's assassins. Her aunt was a well known
Indian Independence fighter. She made her film debut alongside
Balraj Sahni in “Anuradha”. After watching her performance in “The
Householder”, Satyajit Ray planned an english film, the journey,
with marlon brando, shashi kapoor and X.

her to cast her in his films.

• The ancient recipe of this dish dates back to the
Ain-i-Akbari where beef was stewed overnight in
a “deg”.
• Around 1784, in a famine struck Oudh, this recipe
was re-invented in order to serve warm food to

at the Bara Imambara.
