Students from a village in India visited Kakkar Treen Village to raise awareness about the harmful effects of child marriage. Through a play, they showed how two girls' lives were negatively impacted by being married young - one at age 15 and the other at 16. Both mothers now want better educations for their own children so they do not have to face similar challenges. The visit aimed to sensitize the community to the problems caused by child marriage, like poverty, overpopulation, and illiteracy.
