Holy Family Parish September 1995 began coursework in CALLED (Community of Adult lay Leaders Educated Toward Discipleship), which concluded in May 1997 September 1999 began two-year coursework, which resulted in receiving a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Pastoral Life and Administration from Loyola University of New Orleans in May 2001

ELGIN NEIGHBORHOOD Block Captain - 2006 until Present Coordinated a Neighborhood Watch group with the City of Elgin Police Department in my neighborhood Forward information to 16 neighborhood households from the EPD Attend bi-monthly meetings at EPD Plan and implement yearly Neighborhood Block Party in August for National Night Out Data Coordinator - July 2009 to Present Volunteer at the Community Crisis Center in their office In January 2010 will begin training to become a women’s advocate at local hospital
11. Other / Sears Volunteer Committee Member on the Sears Women’s Network Partnered with the Women’s Program at Harper Community College’s Women’s Program. Coordinated a series of six programs for women who were experiencing transformations in their lives and decided to return to college to prepare them for employment. Substitute Volunteer to Assist Employee with Cerebral Palsy Assisted in preparing lunch and feeding this man We remain in contact with each other. He is a source of inspiration to me.
