2. WE CHANGED “ DO WE HAVE THE WILL TO MAKE POVERTY HISTORY ? ” WE BROUGHT A SMILE TO THE FACES OF ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY STUDENTS
3. FEEL No furniture, no notebooks, torn clothes “Its time we did something for them !!” WE SAW THE PITIABLE CONDITIONS OF THE CHILDREN STUDYING IN D.B.M.S. LILLIPUT SCHOOL WHICH IS A PROJECT SCHOOL FOR BELOW POVERTY LINE FAMILIES. WE WANTED TO BRING SOME SUNSHINE INTO THEIR LIVES.
4. IMAGINE Mrs. InduModak, Incharge of Lilliput School We involved a thousand students “ WHAT IF WE COULD COLLECT THINGS FROM STUDENTS OF OUR SCHOOL AND DONATE IT TO THEM !! ”
5. WE DID “ WE COLLECTED NOTEBOOKS, PENCILS, ERASERS, PENCIL BOXES, TIFFIN BOXES, SCHOOL BAGS, OLD CLOTHES, TOYS AND BISCUITS FROM CLASSES 4 TO 7.
6. WE DID Charity is the virtue of the heart and not the hand. STUDENTS GAVE VOLUNTARILY AND HAPPILY.
7. LILLIPUT SCHOOL SONARY, RIVERSMEET Toys were distributed to the KG Class We distributed notebooks to Std. I
8. WE DID A smile is like sunshine it can lighten up a life. PLAYED GAMES AND GAVE AWAY PRIZES
9. ONE JOY SCATTERS A HUNDERED GRIEFS Run children, run !!!!!!! Come on, hit the bull’s eye !!!!!! Hurrah!!!!! We’ve won
10. DISTRIBUTING BISCUITS, CHIPS, ETC. GIVE A LITTLE LOVE TO A CHILD AND YOU GET A GREAT DEAL BACK.
11. HOW DID WE GET CHANGED It is more blessed to give than to receive. Things do not change, We change. Spending time with the Lilliput children was an enjoyable experience. We learnt that we should not take for granted what God has given us, the children we interacted with had nothing but still they were happy. We saw that our one act lighted up their lives so we have decided to carry on the work that we started involving more and more students.
