The Techno Park Incubator (Pisa) provides physical incubation spaces and value-added services to support startups from conception to the first three years. It has over 1,280 square meters of furnished office units, meeting rooms, and an auditorium. Value-added services include consulting, training, business monitoring, and networking. From 2003 to 2012, the incubator supported 35 graduate companies and 46 startups from 87 applications. It has won international prizes and collaborates with other business incubators around the world. Starting businesses in an incubator provides a protected environment where costs are reduced and the critical startup phase is easier to face.
