Barcelona Activa’s technology park, spanning over 10,000 m², is designed to support industrial and technology companies, especially SMEs in the engineering sector. It offers flexible office spaces, shared services, and access to a range of business support resources, including training and innovation programs. The park has successfully hosted fifty companies since 2015, collectively contributing to significant employment and turnover in the local economy.

5. Centre for Technology Companies
Office space
The Technology Park offers companies modular and flexible
office space in 25 to 200m2
units, with 24/7 access and
the possibility of using advanced services workspaces.
Who is the Centre for Technology Companies for?
• SMEs that are innovative and provide a differential value to
the development of areas in the engineering and industrial sector.
• ... companies that already have at least eighteen months’ trading
activity behind them and that do not require more than 200 m2
of office space.
• ... SMEs that are technology-based, preferably industrial or
engineering firms with their own product.
• and that are being developed a natural person with more
than 50% of the firm’s share capital, and who mostly works
for the company.

6. Shared services
Companies setting up here enjoy a range of services including
shared reception services, Wi-Fi, administration and security;spaces
for conferences and meetings, such as the Auditorium, with a capacity
for more than 200 professionals, and the Barcelona Innovation room for
video conferencing;and other recreational areas like the office,
the new Gaming Space and other rest areas.
Training services, business advice
and support
Companies can also get access to high value-added resources such
as Barcelona Activa’s services for companies at the Business Support
Office (OAE) –municipal procedures, funding, innovation programmes,
talent searches, internationalization and export procedures, etc.-,
as well as advisory services from specialized partners at the Park
and the technology and research centres, events and business
meetings and networking activities.

8. Centre for Industrial Promotion
Makerspace
This is the first municipal support service for industrial
prototyping in Barcelona.
It is linked to the Business Support Office’s innovation services,
programmes and activities so that SMEs can get to know
new advanced manufacturing technologies and make prototypes
in an efficient way, giving them a market focus from the moment
a product is designed.
Mechanics workshop
To provide tools and machinery for prototyping, product changes
and short production runs.
Digital workshop
To provide digital prototyping technologies.
Collaborative workspace
Spaces to carrying out team projects.
Tech Space
Exhibition space for technology projects developed by companies
in the Centre for Technology Companies, and other partners from the
Park and the industrial ecosystem.
It is a multipurpose area to stage exhibitions, visits and presentations
with digital media and/or physical support resources, and a place
where technologies developed in the Park and prototyping space
(Makerspace) can be made visible and tangible.
