4. Alex Woolgar
As Founder & Managing Partner,
Alex leads the Natural Resources
team specialising in Mining and all
aspects of Engineering for global
client organisations.
He focuses on ‘C’ level, Project leadership and
corporate head office positions. Under his leadership
Inception Partners has supported its clients and

North & South America, Australia, Asia, India
and Iceland.
Having joined Harvey Nash Plc. in 1997, Alex has

With 14 years of executive search
experience, Dan focuses on Managing
Director and senior executive hires

Nick has spent circa 20 years in key
management and sales leadership roles
in three of the world’s leading software
and solution providers.
Primarily focused on new business, he has managed
and had responsibility for driving results through
teams of Sales, Senior Account Directors and
Technical Architects working collaboratively across an
International client base.
Nick has a broad understanding, of new technologies
having delivered complex solutions encompassing:-

Virtualization, Service Assurance, Service Management,
Application Development and Life cycle Management.
Latterly, he has worked with large IT Outsourcers
and Service Providers, providing Cloud Hosting, as a

As part of the Natural Resources
team, she specialises in mining,
biotechnology, construction &
engineering for global organisations.
She focuses on both operational and leadership roles,
such as Project Directors, Construction Directors, VP
Technical Services, Chief Metallurgists and Senior
Maintenance Specialists and ‘C’ suite positions (COO,
CEO, Managing Director, General Manager including
Non-Executive).
With a first class honours degree in Linguistics
and a native Portuguese speaker, she has worked
successfully across the globe, consulting & recruiting
across project management and development
operations for three of the world’s largest mining
organisations. Also, she has a wealth of experience
in moving Senior Mining Executives cross border to

8. David Higgins
Chairman, Inception Partners
Prior to founding Inception Partners, David spent circa 20 years
building Harvey Nash plc into a £500m turnover global professional
services organisation.
David’s roles have encompassed Managing Director, Chief Executive, Executive Deputy
Chairman and most recently Non-Executive Deputy Chairman. As a highly effective senior
international business leader, his past successes have included growing Harvey Nash
significantly in terms of size, revenue and profits and expanding the previously UK-centric
organisation to deliver a global footprint covering Europe, Asia-Pacific and the USA.
David has a proven track record in creating growth, both organically and via strategic
acquisitions. He has also taken a private business through to a successful flotation and listing
on the London Stock Exchange. He currently advises the boards of five SME companies.
