Freddie Mercury was born in 1946 in Zanzibar and was the lead singer of the British rock band Queen. Some of Queen's most famous songs composed by Mercury include "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "We Are The Champions". Mercury died in 1991 at age 45 in London from bronchopneumonia resulting from AIDS complications.
