The Journey - Our Beginning Outcomes  We named ourselves – International Institute of Business Analysis A working group was created to formalize the vision, mission and objectives of IIBA 23 people agreed to create an Association to represent their profession – Business Analysis

Accomplishments A Business Analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems  Bridge the gap of understanding between the business needs and the technology  Play a role in the evaluation of an organization’s current systems and processes Analyze a client’s business and recommend and develop solutions to address their business challenges Define the Business Analyst
Accomplishments Designation - Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP TM ) The IIBA Certification will recognize individuals with an advanced level of knowledge and qualifications The IIBA will offer additional certification programs in the future based on demand Note:  Education Provider certifications will not be recognized as a substitute to the IIBA certification Develop a Business Analysis Certification Program
