1. Introduction:
Hi there, my name is Huiyee. I am a still­alive­Final­Year­law­student. ​To cut the long story short, I
have summarised 4 points to elaborate why should I be chosen to faciliate #iheartconsent campaign
:D
1. I’m a law student, therefore I can TALK a.k.a adequate communication skill
I have attended courses on how to deliver important message to the audience effectively with the right tone and
epression. Also, my experiences as a host for formal(eg. Law Awards Dinner) and informal event(Law Students’ End
Year Party)​ ​and TV newscaster will definitely fit your criteria as the facilitator of the campaign!
2. Awareness and understanding of consent issues and students’ welfare
I am running for NUS delegate. Therefore, I have been updating myself about RUSU and issues concerning Reading
students’ welfare. Gender and sex issues are close to my heart. My current research project is one on gender issue.
Also, when I was working as a legal intern back home, I dealt with cases relating to transgender. I can therefore share

2. my legal knowledge with the audience while conducting the workshop. Last summer, I was working on mental health
care issue to assist an MP on policy making. It is one of the taboo topics that we don’t talk about but affects us, the
students the most.
3. Ability to deal with crowds and strong presentation skill
I am used to taki the stage(literally) single­handedly. I facilitated workshop about constitution and human rights for
students and also working adults. Furthermore, I pitched to firms and various organisations to secure sponsorship for
Law Students Union in my college. p.s I have been dating with PowerPoint and Prezi for quite some time :P
4. Anytime, anywhere
Well, last but not least, as the picture says, I stay in Wessex Hall. Hence, I can start working anytime, anywhere! I have
no problem with long shifts at all!
Conclusion:
