area of Electronic Design Automation focused on behavior modeling, system

• MoU with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to enable BIS adopt
IEEE standards as Indian National Standard
• MoU enables adoption of IEEE Standards as National
Standards
• IEEE-SA standards in the area of Power/Energy,
Telecommunication & ICT, and Medical Device Standards (to
mention a few) is of core public interest in India and will enable
the growth of the community
• This engagement will enable a stronger and longer term
relationship for IEEE in India by increasing visibility and
participation of both individuals and corporations in our global,
market-driven standards development process
