WHEN YOU PUT THEM IN A BOX,
THEY FEEL LIKE YOU PUT THEM IN THE COFFIN
INSIGHT 1.
Don’t make assumptions about what they like.
They still have plenty of unmet needs that could be
fulfilled with new technologies. Use your imagination
and get out of the so-called « silver surfers » stereotypes.

BE A FACILITATOR AND A LIFE ENHANCER WHEN
IT COMES TO CROSS ITEMS OFF THE BUCKET LIST
INSIGHT 2.
After a life of work and sacrifice, they want to reward
themselves. The only fear they have is to loose the abilities
that could keep them away from the experiences they value.
These experiences open the door to feeling more alive than
ever before. They want you to make it easier when they are
seeking ways to invite enjoyable experiences into their lives.

SENSE OF COMMUNITY, FEELING THEY BELONG TO A
BROADER COLLECTIVE, BEING ASSOCIATED TO A
VIBRANT GROUP GIVE THEM PURPOSE AND ENERGY
Making a contribution to the social fabric, local social
engagement, community-based initiatives ….
When experiencing something that is bigger than oneself,
the shareable experience make them feel empowered,
useful and appreciated again.

INSIGHT 4.
TELL THEM THAT THE LIFE IS STILL FULL
OF SURPRISES, NOT THAT THEY ARE
ABOUT TO REACH THE END OF THE ROAD
They don’t want you to acknowledge the ineptitude,
they want you to enhance their resilience.
Life is an adventure. However one defines
adventure, we want to hear that they will
be able to master their own destiny as they
keep moving forward through life.

INSIGHT 5.
BE A CATALYST FOR WHAT
ONE IS TRULY CAPABLE
They had a life full of greatness, and they
probably have plenty of potential left.
« I can do this », « I can go places
I never thought I could go ».
Be exhilarating and be a catalyst of, in a
stable and confident way, what they are
truly capable of.

THE ROAD [STAYS] OPEN AT 70
Lloyd Kahn, first tried skatebording at 65. Now he is 78-year-old and keeps jumping off and landing on his feet.’ Pat Moorhead celebrated by performing
80 parachute jumps in a row when he turned 80, with no breaks. Now, he is travelling around the world most of his time with his wife; they have visited
over 180 countries. Ruth Flowers decided to become a club DJ when she turned 68. From 2009 she won world recognition and played at various clubs
in London, Ibiza, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and even Tokyo. Sadly, Ms Flowers, aka Mamy Rock, passed away in May 2014, at the age of 83.
Being over 70 doesn’t mean reaching the end of the road. It’s the last chance to cross items off the buck list and the life is still plenty of
surprise. Don’t make assumptions about any limits, be a life enhancer.

IT’S THE LAST ROUND, ALL IN!
A legend in the worlds of theater, television and film, Sir Patrick Stewart has entertained generations in dozens of roles from "Star Trek" to "X-Men." More
recently, he's also built a loyal following on social media and regularly updates his millions of fans with his thoughts. Just like his pal Patrick Stewart,
actor Ian McKellen has embraced social media as a way to connect with fans, show off his dry wit, and give a glimpse into the life of a entertainment
legend. One of the world's great conservation champions, Jane Goodall uses social media to inspire people around the world to support and act to save
species and habitat in peril. Connecting means sharing the legacy of a life. These digital windows into these favorite celebrities' lives not only
entertain and amuse, but also inspire to learn more about the causes and personal passions close to their hearts.

« Speaking Exchange » is a project for CNA language schools in Brazil
that introduces young Brazilians willing to learn English to elderly
Americans living in retirement homes who just want someone to talk to.
By connecting the young Brazilians and older Americans via Web chats,
it's a win-win proposition for both the students and the senior citizens

Launched in December 2010, UK based hand-knitting fashion
company Grannies Inc. offers an array of knitwear accessory
templates that consumers can use to design their own masterpieces.
Once they have a design they like, shoppers can also choose the
granny they’d like to have make it. From there, it gets speedily knit
by the chosen granny, using 100% British spun merino wool yarn.
