Registrations for the 2022 edition are now open, targeting students aged 6-16 and featuring multiple interactive competition modules in block coding and Python. 3. Why ICode Hackathon
ICode is a global organization which enables Kids students to benchmark their coding skills
with their peers globally.
Each level of ICode Global Hackathon is a live 60 minute
competition which is interactive and fun

Hackathon annually, allowing students to benchmark their skills with peers

4. Why ICode?
There are multiple assessments, coding competition for kids
benchmarking and certification platforms for professionals learning
to code. However, for KIDS Coding education, there was a void of a
global organization that could assess, benchmark, and certify the
learning outcome and skills for students aged 6-16.
The ICode Global Hackathon fills that void with a platform for children
where they can benchmark their skills with over 2 million students
from 70+ countries.

5. Blockly Beginner is designed for Grade 1-3 with drag
and drop action for different code blocks. This module
introduces conditional and loop lblocks. Pre Knowledge
assumes computational awareness of loops and
conditions.

are sourced from open-source learning platforms like Scratch, MIT App Inventor, Python
and CTSA. All the modules are interactive, gamified and are based on Code-Test-Debug-
Run.

6. Python Beginner is designed for Grade 6-7 based on
Click to Code. Pre Knowledge assumes computational
awareness of loops and conditions.

The ICode Global Hackathon 2022 is the 5th edition of the world’s largest Kids coding competition.
This edition will see more than 2.5 million students participating from 75+ countries including students from
Central and South American countries for the first time.
