Social problem description

United Nations says 72 million children do not attend school not only in poor
countries but also in developed countries.




-in North Asia:over 300 million children cannot go to school.
-in the U.S:20 percent of children are pauperism.
-in Korea: about 1.5million children who are in the corner of education and
social welfare because of their disabled parents’ economic difficulties. (2million
children who don’t have their parents because of car accidents .)
Proposed activities


-Help the children in under-developed country through material aid.
(establishing schools, giving support such as electronic equipments, books, etc.)
-By voluntary donations.

-Offering one to one mentoring program to children of the local children
center in Korea.(can be mentor and teach arts and physical education, IT, etc.)
-Offering mentoring program for adolescents.
(mentors communicate with their mentee through media such as music, video, etc.)
Proposed activities

-People(working at local children center, branch school of farming and fishing
communities, or social welfare center) post existing programs on the online
board, donators can select a program what they want and donate.
(teachers, donators, and volunteer workers can participate directly and share
their love.)
-Making the process and the results of donation publicly on online after
finishing donation and education.

We recognized that there are a lot of children just like the girl are not
able to receive education service, and they don't even think about what
children usually dream of.

        Education builds people and people build society.

                          lack of access to education


For individuals - personal basic quality cannot get developed, negative impact
to children’s mental health.

For the collectives - the rate of juvenile crimes get higher, lead to social
instability, cause or sharpen the gap between rich and poor.

In developing countries - develop slowly, the material and cultural life would
not improve rapidly enough, country could not free itself from poverty and
backwardness.

 - Get better personal quality and better life.
 -Provide them with the skills.
 -The number of juvenile crimes will reduce.
 -Effect our society to become more stable and equal.
 - Social resources expenditure can become smaller.

The best example of successful person from the poor - Biya Han(한비야)

                                    Helped by an American couple and
                                    studied in a U.S graduate school.

                                    Now working as a member of
                                    Advisory Board in UN Central
                                    Emergency Response Fund. One of
                                    the most respected people because
                                    she helped a lot of poor children
                                    during travelling around the world
                                    as a leader of Emergency Relief
                                    Team in International relief and
                                    development organizations ‘World
                                    Vision’.

program of KFAS(the
Korea Foundation for
Advanced Studies) . They
select and help students
studying in Social
Science, Natural
Science, and Information
and Communications fields
to be able to study abroad
