Coloring
the
backboard
I
had
done
all
the
works
related
to
backboard;
I
rounded
and
filed
the
edges.
Therefore,
the
works
left
for
me
were
related
to
the
mirror
photoframe.
However,
this
step
would
be
sophisticated
because
I
should
measure
the
size
of
the
mirror
waterdrop
shape
and
order
the
plastic
mirror
to
the
plastic
mirror
company.
As
this
step
took
time
to
contact
with
the
company
and
get
the
appropriate
size
of
plastic
mirror
that
would
be
fit
to
the
my
mirror
waterdrop
shape.
Therefore,
in
this
class,
I
started
to
paint
the
backboard
in
order
to
make
a
mirror
and
assemble
photoframes
to
the
backboard.
First
of
all,
I
mixed
green,
yellow
and
white
to
create
a
background
color
of
the
leaf.
I
would
like
to
make
the
color
as
pastel
tone
because
pastel
tone
color
looked
more
bright
and
natural.
I
paint
the
background
of
the
backboard
with
yellowish-­‐green
color.
I
then
created
the
leaf
vein
line
cross
the
middle
part
of
the
backboard.
I
would
create
gradation
on
the
line,
which
has
strong
colors
outside
and
weak
colors
inside.

big
brush
to
color,
and
thus
I
could
paint
quickly.
Next
class,
I
would
paint
the
six
leaf
veins
on
the
backboard
and
create
gradation
on
them

Today’s
process
was
related
to
Human
Ingenuity.
By
using
the
acrylic
paint,
brushes
and
pallet,
I
painted
the
background
and
the
leaf
vein
lines
on
the
backboard
with
beautiful
gradations.
In
addition,
my
process
was
connected
to
Approaches
to
Learning.
This
was
because
while
working
on
the
painting,
I
was
able
to
learn
about
how
to
create
gradation.

Changes
to
Plan
Today’s
process
was
very
satisfied
for
me
because
I
had
made
beautiful
appropriate
colors
with
blending
the
colors.
I
knew
what
colors
are
used
to
create
natural
leaf-­‐color;
green,
yellow
and
white.
In
addition,
I
could
paint
fast
as
I
used
a
big
brush.
Big
brush
allowed
me
to
paint
wider
area
on
the
backboard.
In
addition,
I
could
use
the
small
brushes
to
create
gradations,
which
are
very
delicate
and
elaborate
process.

Biommimicry
Connection
My
product
has
a
shape
of
waterdrop
on
the
leaf.
Naturally
leaf
is
the
place
where
waterdrops
are
formed.
Therefore,
the
leaf
shape
of
the
backboard
was
connected
to
Biomimicry
design
as
it
is
holding
three
waterdrops.
In
addition,
the
color
of
the
backboard
is
green,
which
was
the
original
color
of
the
leaf.
There
are
also
very
good
conenctions
in
the
waterdrops
because
they
reflect
the
things.
