The Pre-Columbian Program at Dumbarton Oaks was established in 1963 to support research on the art and archaeology of ancient Americas from northern Mexico to southern South America between the early archaic period to the 16th century. The program offers fellowships, grants for field research, scholarly meetings, publications, and access to artifacts and documents through the Robert Woods Bliss Collection of Pre-Columbian Art and Dumbarton Oaks Research Library.
