This HSR, Belmont, Tracy Division is the proposed corridor to connect San
Francisco/San Jose with Los Angeles and Sacramento.
Direct trains run from Sacramento to Stockton, Tracy, Livermore, Pleasanton,
Fremont, Redwood City, and San Francisco/San Jose with additional stations
between Redwood City and San Francisco/Fremont and San Jose.
Direct trains also run from San Francisco to Tracy, Lathrop loop with stops in
between, then to Modesto, “new intersect loop to BNSF corridor” Denair, Merced,
Chowchilla, Madera, Fresno, Kingsburg, Goshen, Tulare, Bakersfield, Lancaster,
(with stations in between) and Los Angeles.
Also direct trans run between Sacramento and Los Angeles.
Not all trains will stop at all the stations indicated.
The electrified HSR Belmont, Tracy Division corridor proposal serves multi Cities,
the proposed HSR corridor via Gilroy, Merced does not and is therefore not
economically viable. San Jose, Gilroy, and Hollister may still receive train
service. Note; both corridors need tunnels, so chose the B/T division for better
economic results.

  • 1. This HSR, Belmont, Tracy Division is the proposed corridor to connect San Francisco/San Jose with Los Angeles and Sacramento. Direct trains run from Sacramento to Stockton, Tracy, Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont, Redwood City, and San Francisco/San Jose with additional stations between Redwood City and San Francisco/Fremont and San Jose. Direct trains also run from San Francisco to Tracy, Lathrop loop with stops in between, then to Modesto, “new intersect loop to BNSF corridor” Denair, Merced, Chowchilla, Madera, Fresno, Kingsburg, Goshen, Tulare, Bakersfield, Lancaster, (with stations in between) and Los Angeles. Also direct trans run between Sacramento and Los Angeles. Not all trains will stop at all the stations indicated. The electrified HSR Belmont, Tracy Division corridor proposal serves multi Cities, the proposed HSR corridor via Gilroy, Merced does not and is therefore not economically viable. San Jose, Gilroy, and Hollister may still receive train service. Note; both corridors need tunnels, so chose the B/T division for better economic results. HSR Belmont, Tracy Div Des by R.N.
