3. WHAT DOES CONSUMER MEAN ?
A consumer is a individual person who buys for
personal use and not for resale. A consumer is
someone who can make the decision whether or
not to purchase an item.
Just say that you go to a store and you purchase an
item such as some clothes or video games you are
making that decision as a consumer.
4. WHAT DOES TARIFF MEAN ?
A Tariff is a tax imposed on a product when it is
imported to a country. Tariffs are used to restrict
trade, as they increase the price of imported goods,
making the item more expensive to consumers.
We need the Tariffs because overseas the prices are
much lower and people would rather buy from there
so then our industry's and shops would not get any
money and have to shut down.
5. WHAT DOES SUBSIDY MEAN ?
Subsidy means when a country wants to use a space
in another country they must pay that country’s
government some money to use that space.
You might need to use the space for a short time but
you still must pay money.
For example if America wanted to do some
experiments in Australia's deserts they would have to
pay Australia's government money.
6. WHAT DOES HUMAN RIGHTS MEAN ?
Human rights is a right that all humans must have.
For example all humans must have shelter , food,
water and education
7. WHAT IS TELECOMMUNICATION?
Telecommunication is communication with other
people from around the world. It is like social
networking, you must be able to hear and sometimes
see them.
8. WHAT IS A DEVELOPING NATION?
A developing nation is a nation that is not as rich as
other nations.. They are still develop by trying to get
more money and earn more items.
9. WHAT IS BARTER?
Barter is exchanging goods for other goods for other
products without using any money. Barter is also
know as trading. for example in the old days you
could go to the shop and say you want to buy a toy
you would give the shopkeeper goods that belonged
to you.
