The HR seminar in September 2015 saw 14 companies participate with their regional HR representatives. The seminar was well prepared to start and end on time without compromising on content. An initiative by the author as Placement Head resulted in the successful seminar. A presentation explained the organization's mission, vision, and placement processes. An interactive Q&A session provided customized solutions to hiring needs. The seminar concluded with a delicious meal from the school's kitchen to fuel the attendees. As a direct result of the seminar, positive placement statistics followed, including 21 letters of intent, 3 memorandum of understanding sign-ups, and 8 campus drives with 14 participating companies.
