QUESTIONS
1) Let’s begin with you telling me about yourself.
Ans: - My father is a businessman. I studied in famous colleges (reputed institutions in
Bangalore). In the CET counseling I got a merit seat in Information Technology. My
aggregate percentage in my B.E, degree is 79%, regarding my knowledge-based skills.
I. I am proficient in c, c++, Assembly level programming in 8086, sql and java.
II. I can work on applications like MS office, oracle, visual basic, mysql, jrun and
iis server.
III. I have knowledge in computer concepts like operating systems, system software,
data structures, object oriented concepts, UNIX systems programming, file
structure, cgi and computer networks.
IV. I am good at platforms like Linux, UNIX and windows.
My other skills are: -

My eight semester project was at NAL under the guidance of famous scientist Dr.
Srinivas Bhogle . My qualifications are for your requirements.
2) Tell me about the biggest project you have worked from start to finish?
Ans: - I did my final year engineering project in NAL, that is, National aerospace
Laboratories. It is a research organization coming under Defence Department. My guide was
the famous scientist Dr.Srinivas Bhogle. I did the project with three other college mates . We
worked as a team. Each student was assigned some part of the project. I co-coordinated the
schedules and finished before deadline. I was in constant touch with my team members. I
was there to troubleshoot, whenever necessary.

Ans: - My qualifications are very much suitable for your requirements I passed my
Engineering Degree in first class with distinction. I am proficient in c, c++, assembly level

Ans: -My ability to do this job is good. No weakness would obstruct it.
My perseverance (constant efforts/ non –stop work) removes any kind of my weakness. I
hate the word frustration. I can move projects forward with all my efforts in any given
situation.

13) What will you do when one of your team members don’t work at the same pace/
speed as you do?
Ans: - I will help my team members with patience when they don’t work at the same pace

Ans:- The principal of my college wanted to prepare a project for the administration
of the college. He asked the HOD of the information technology branch to do it. My
professor selected 3 students including myself. I worked continuously for 8 months, in
addition to my 4th year academic project, I worked in week-ends and finished before
deadline, I coordinated the schedules. I was in constant touch with my team-members. I
was there to troubleshoot whenever necessary. The real challenge was to communicate
with the college non-teaching staff about the project. I talked to them individually. I made
them understand and implement. I received a strong letter of appreciation from my HOD
and principal.

15) You say you are an achiever. How will you achieve in your future job?
Ans: - If your company hires me, I shall make a lot of benefit to your organization in terms
of a making money, saving time, improving quality, solving problems in a creative manner,
winning customers and so on.
16) What are the key qualities of a team member ( support person)? Tell only 3 positive
things about you as a team-member of a project.
Ans: - As a team-member of a project.
I. I shall have thorough knowledge about the job and I shall share my ideas

17) How would you keep (stay) informed about new technology ?
Ans: - I am eager to know the ever-changing world, we live in. So I read the business section
and information technology section of the news paper daily. I go through the internet for
information.
18) You say you have good communication skills. Tell me about a time/example when
you were good in communication skill?
Ans: - I did a project for the administration of the college. The project was lengthy. The
duration was 8 months. The challenge was to communicate with the non-teaching staff about
the project. I talked to them individually. I made them understand and implement
extensively.2) While I was doing project work with 2 other team members, I co-ordinated/
communicated/implemented /organized /trained /supervised…..3) I presented a paper>I
answered to the queries raised in the assembly hall……..Or any other suitable answer…….

19) What is the first thing you would do, if you were given this job?
Ans: - First, I shall understand the specific responsibilities of my team members. I shall talk
with each of them about the nature of work they do. I shall read about the company’s
products. I shall make use of my training period and understand my job.
20) Do you think you can you do this job ?
Ans: - My qualifications are very much suitable for your requirements. I can learn quickly
and finish projects before dead lines. I can make a difference in your company. I always set
goals and achieve.
21) Tell me about your family background. ?
Ans: - My father is a retired high school teacher. My mother is a housewife. One brother is
working in motor Industries company. Another brother is a computer engineer
22) a) Do you play games?
Ans: - In school days, I used to play cricket. I was a regular member of the school team till
Tenth standard. In my college, I could play only in week-end holidays.
b) Which form of cricket, do you like more one-day or test matches?
I like one day matches. Why? Ans:- Because they are more interesting and exciting. I like
test matches. Why? Ans:- Because test matches give chance to every player to prove his ability.
c) Which world records does Tendulkar hold in one day cricket?
Ans: - He has recorded the maximum centuries and the highest number of runs in world
cup matches.
23) In case, you are not selected for this job, what would you do?
Ans:- I hope I would be selected. In case I am not selected, I shall try again with intensive
preparation.
b) In case you are not selected for the second time what will you do ?
Ans: - I am 100% sure that I would be selected in my next attempt.
24) What are the biggest problems to modern civil society?
Ans: - I think they are pollution and terrorism.
I. To reduce pollution, we should grow more and more trees. They purify the air . We should
use lead- free petrol. The government should complete metro rail project. To reduce water
pollution, the sewage water and industrial waste project. To reduce water pollution, the
sewage water and industrial waste should not flow into rivers and lakes.
II. To reduce terrorism , the Govt should solve social- economic problems and give adequate
representation to the ethnic groups in the administration .

26) Suppose your project will take 20 days to complete, but your client expects that it
must be completed within 15 days, how you react?
Ans: - I shall explain about the problem to the project manager so that he can convince the
client. Or he may request the client to come to the company so that I can convince him
directly by explaining the problem.
27) Tell me about your life at college/ in your previous organization.
Ans: - a) Positive behavior-> Your skills and domains obtained during you r studies.
b) Experience-> How availed the opportunity to learn and develop your skills.
c) Achievement-> Leadership quality , team spirit , academic achievement (FCD)
28) What willl you do if the project is not challenging?
Ans:- Challenging means complex:- if the project is not challenging , I will finish the
project long before dead line and check for what next.
29) What did you do all these 3 months after your college?
Ans: - I learnt something new…….., I did a small project……..
30 ) Do you consider yourself a natural leader?
Ans: - Instead of “ natural leader”, I may be considered a competent or honest / just leader I try
to cultivate leadership qualities. I don’t know whether leadership qualities come naturally or not .
But I have the quality to lead.
31) Suppose you get appointment order for a salary of Rupees 50,000/- in some other
big company, will you leave our company?
Ans: - I shall give more importance only to the “job satisfaction” in my present job. I shall
request the HRD manager to hike some of the incentives considering my skills and domains .
Sir, I honestly say, that I shall give the least preference to quit the job.
