• The release of openSUSE Leap 42.1 on 4 Nov
2015 was an important milestone
• the right decision made by board and
community
• Many sysadmin and desktop users want to try it
and in the end converted as openSUSE users. It
has longer life cycle and can compete with
centos and ubuntu LTS
